Cabin itself was ok. A typical old rustic cabin; and super conveniently located. Close to the national park, restaurants, the town! Now, there does seem to be some sort of miscommunication between ******* and the actual cabin hosts - on ******* and via email j was told I’d get check in instructions 24 hours before check in. I also spoke with the property via ******* chat and was told I’d get my check in instructions “shortly” (this was a day before check in). I realized later I never got them. What I did get, despite asking for early check-in, was a text at 11:22 the day of, asking me for my CC info. I was driving and kind of in the middle of nowhere with limited service and by the time I arrived at my destination my phone died shortly after and I wasn’t in a place to call someone and give them my cc info (there was a lot of other people), then my phone died. By the time I finished my tour, it was 5:45. I went to my car, charged my phone got a text saying I wasn’t gonna get my check in info and that they had closed at 5:30. I panicked and called and after 2x of calling they picked up. The guy who picked up was rude and not friendly at all. He said “none else had this issue before,” well Karen, since when is everyone the same? Anyways he was super rude and I just read him the number so he would stop being rude. I got back that night pretty late, I noticed the cabin was FREEZING. UNBEARABLE. FOR 3 nights I suffered and I even had to buy a 40$ sweater!!! I want to write more..
