Really nice B & B, clean and very central, just a 5 minutes walk to the shops and 10 minutes to the river. Staff were very friendly and the service was good. No complaints at all.

The hotel environment is very quiet, beautiful and comfortable, clean and hygienic, and the staff are very warm and helpful. I sleep well, and the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. It is a good place to live for travel, and I will stay with my family if I have the chance in the future

Walked into the Telstar to a very welcoming host. Had one of the small but perfected formed single rooms with a bathroom. The room had everything I needed and even a little balcony. Will definitely be back…thank you

This is the second time I have stayed at the Telstar - I have had the same room both times (probably because it was a single and I don’t think they have many) which made me smile - it’s perfect for my requirements. It’s laid back, friendly, kinda quirky which I love - the service and facilities exceed my expectations and with a lovely Full English breakfast included in the price it’s just superb value for money. I will be back ! 🙂

It was very good stay. My only complaint is that I would’ve liked to have been able to lock the door of my bedroom on the inside. But otherwise the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the instructions were excellent.

The reception at the hotel was good, a nice man showed me to my room when I checked in. My room was clean and warm, perfect for the single traveller. With a small en-suite bathroom. The cooked breakfast was delicious, plenty of variety and pleasant staff: I enjoyed my stay, I thought it was good value for money, and if I stay in Exeter again, I’d definitely book to stay at the Telstar.

Nice hotel. Car park was full but given parking permit to park on the local street. Room 20 , exec single. Had a double bed. Room needs a little TLC but was warm and clean . Amazing breakfast , with tea pots, not individual cups. Loved it ! Would definitely return

The property has great character but as our bedroom has single pane sash window at the front you get traffic noises and a lot of condensation. But the owners are helpful and breakfast is generous and good quality. Prepare for tricky parking and steep climb back from the town.

reception friendly and helpful. Room good and comfortable bed, hot shower but plumbing a bit noisy and could hear books closing in other rooms, age of building did not help. Very good breakfast good variety and well cooked.

I had the small single room with shared bathroom. All was good except that in the exceptional heat the room was unbearably hot. There was a fan but only a small opening window. Everything else was excellent, especially the breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. I asked for fried bread, not on the menu, and it was delicious. Thank you Telstar, I can thoroughly recommend.
