First of all, the front desk clerk's service attitude was poor. I arranged the room next to the elevator. I said that I could change one. She said that she could not change it after she sold it out. When I arrived at the room, I found that the blinds were bad. I called the front desk and sent people to see the instructions. The next night we came back from the outside and found that the curtains were not repaired. I went to the front desk and asked why it was that. The young waitress wearing glasses had a very bad attitude. I was not allowed to change the room. She said that she could only switch to the same location on the fourth floor, which means that it was still noisy next to the elevator. Because the curtains of the hotel were broken, they should be responsible for apologizing for not repairing, but the white girl wearing glasses did not apologize. Do not take any measures and actively cooperate with the appropriate room. It is worth mentioning that my favorite travel in the United States is Hampton inn. I am a member of this hotel. I often book a room on the official website of the hotel. This time, because Ctrip is cheaper, I booked it on Ctrip. As a result, I was not expecting such treatment, and I did not encounter this attitude in the same hotel that was booked elsewhere. Therefore, such hotel services can only give bad reviews.

I wish there was a rating between poor and average. I thought I'd give this hotel a try especially from their Instagram photos only to be disappointed with our very outdated and dusty room . It's not worth the overpriced rate of $360 (w AAA discount) for the off season . We stayed in a Narraganset King Water view w balcony room which was far away from the lobby in the Captains Quarters convention hall area. I even spoke to a manager as I was leaving how disappointed we were and how they need to definitely renovate their bathrooms for safety. The tub has old glass sliding doors with an extra step that can be difficult climbing out of . My husband slipped and had nothing to hold on to but the towel rack that looked like it was about to break off . We were also surprised to find over $35 in taxes (hotel and room tax plus a $25 resort fee which was not disclosed when I booked over the phone, but stated it was in the confirmation email. Maybe it feels like a resort in the summer, but not in March. fyi, they will also put a $125.00 hold on your credit card for any add;l pending charges . There is a safe in the closet and a small fridge, but hard to find hidden in one of the nightstands. The walk to down town was about 15 minutes and there's a small park before the bridge to Goat Island. Not much walking to be had on Goat Island . NO info was given for parking at the hotel in advance, and don't fall for the crazy expensive overnight valet prices $35 . There's self parking, but just not close to the lobby. The lobby looks nice and modern and we did not visit the restaurant, so we can't rate that , but this hotel needs room improvements and we will most likely not return . Do your research and read the reviews before booking . Honestly , there's so many better hotels in Newport for that rate.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast area was well stocked, the woman that worked in that area was very nice and friendly. The housekeeping department did an excellent job. My family and I would definitely be staying there again on our next trip home.

I stayed at this hotel for a recent bridge tournament. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Requests and questions were addressed promptly and graciously. The room was vey comfortable. Whoever designed the latest upgade knew what they were doing. The room was bright and spacious and the decor was attractive and restful. The shower was quickly hot and had great flow. The bed was very comfortble (no morning backache!) and there lots of outlets for charging my many devices. There were also some little touches that you don't always find any more -- a fridge in the room, a table and chair combo for snacking or writing, an easy-to-use tv with lots of channels. The location is convenient to the highway and to many restaurants -- altho the food in the hotel restaurants was very good. Minor complaints -- the shower floor was a little slippery (altho there was a handrail) and the AC was noisy. All in all, a great stay!

Couldnt have asked for a better experience with Adrien / Adrian (Im sorry if its mispelled my friend!) But overall, hands down a 10/10 experience. The friendliness was off the charts and he couldnt have been more respectful! I would give this man a raise! The 2 gentleman working the front desk when I left aswell were nothing but a pleasure!! Super 8, Youve got a 10 star rating in my book ✌️

Perfect location between Block Island and Newport Mansions! We stayed two nights. We went to Block Island one day (ferry was 10 min away) and the Newport mansions the next day (20-30 min away) and then headed up to Boston after that. It s also less than 10 min from Wakefield Historic District, which has a nice Main Street with shops and restaurants. We are at The Mews - a huge restaurant with a big menu incl kids menu options, 3 bars, and over 60 beers on tap. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING! It was the best Fairfield breakfast we’ve ever had…..waffles,muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, eggs and breakfast sandwiches one day, quiche and croissant sandwiches the next, breakfast meat, yogurt, juice, oatmeal and toppings, cereals. There is a nice indoor pool And a gym with weights and cardio equipment included ng Peleton bikes. Plus, the price was really reasonable compared to other area hotels!

There was dirt and old food on the floor, the wall paper was peeling off the walls and mold was growing underneath and round window frames. The heat/AC vent was full of dust and other debris, ants everywhere. We were staying here for a one night away from home so the kids could use the pool, I took the kids to the pool while my husband went to see if we could get a cleaner room, the pool was disgusting, the water looked dirty, there were clumps of hair just stuck to the edge of the pool, there was what looked like poop in the bottom of the pool. We ended up checking out and going up the road to providence to find a new place to stay. Ruined our little escape as the kids didn’t get to a pool until almost dinner time.

We encountered Gina tonight at The Loft. Her service was amazing!!! I’m so glad that we stopped for a night cap after such a long day of training. She made the exact drink I suggested even better than the original. Thank you Gina for making our night the best! You are one of a kind. The Loft is very lucky to have you as an employee. A very grateful patrons.
