Quite a basic and functional room. Opens to outdoor area. Has indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room/gym. Amazingly powerful shower and clean high spec hotel common areas. A solid 3 star hotel with free parking as a bonus for this area.

The hotel was lovely in itself really happy with the room an restaurant the only thing im not happy with is the indoor pool isn't disabled accessible an there are no signs to say that the pool would ***** any colour from ur hair my daughter went in with vibrant red hair came out an its now a ginger colour i went in with purple hair an my ends are now white an slightly faided purple not bright anymore

We always stay here when we travel to Devon several times a year. We love the comfortable rooms and friendly service. They are able to cater for my son's special diet and we all enjoy the food in the restarant

The Hotel is good and the food was good, the service is very good. The town centre is about a mile away but it’s a nice walk.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend at the Barnstaple Hotel. Loved the facilities in the gym and swimming after. Great location for a walk into town for coffee or shopping!

We took our husband parents for a weekend away and they thoroughly enjoyed staying the Barnstaple Hotel. The rooms were ground floor with walk in showers which was ideal. The room was lovely & clean

i chose this hotel as it was near to my friends and because it had a swimming pool. My daughter loved swimming there for as long as she wanted and it could watch from the side with a cuppa if i wanted to. Breakfast is lovely too.

The hotel is nice, the bedrooms are ok a bit tired. The radiator was either on very hot or off very cold no way of turning the temperature down gradually.
