I would recommend this hotel. This hotel is just great. There's nothing fancy there but the warm welcome from the reception staff was wonderful and the room was super clean. We felt really valued and the staff all wanted us to enjoy ourselves. We would like to mention Clare, Kelly, Sarah and Alisha. Thank you.

Ok so the hotel needs a bit of modernising & it doesn’t help that the adjacent pub has closed down making it the hotel look worse form the outside (also no option for pub breakfast or evening meal but there are some really nice pubs a short drive away). Also things like there’s no plug sockets near the bedsides & the tv & wifi are a bit naff. BUT…the beds are new so still get a good nights sleep, the windows open for fresh air (as fresh as it can be near roads I guess!) and most importantly the team there are the most genuine & caring people. So friendly, happy & relaxed. Available if I needed anything. Their personalities helped me so much because I was travelling alone with 2 preschoolers & they made their stay so much fun which allowed me to relax. Thank you so much!

Our room was very clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Claire, Sarah, Alisha and Kelly ensured that our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hotel is a little tired and would benefit from some updating, but it is very clean and the staff are great.

We stayed at the Lichfield North East Premier Inn for a couple of nights over Easter to visit the Arboretum nearby. The staff were excellent, very friendly and chatty and the rooms were fine, although the TV in our room was not a smart TV, so we could not plug in our Fire stick, unfortunately. The general communal areas of the hotel are a bit worn out, including the doors to the rooms which are most odd. Sadly the surroundings are not very great, a derelict pub and potholed roads on both sides of the entrance junction. Definitely worth eating before checking in - there are plenty of good restaurants in Lichfield a few minutes drive away, and buying some food for breakfast, again, Tesco in Lichfield is only a short drive away. Very convenient for the National Memorial Arboretum though, although be careful about the potholes if you drive there following the road to the left over the railway level crossing as there were a couple of huge ones down that road when we went that way.

This premier inn is looking pretty tired & needs an overhaul! It’s v noisy on the ground floor - despite all the notices asking guests to be considerate it sounds like a herd of elephants on the stairs and in the 1st floor rooms. The room was spotless clean ( well done ladies! ), and as usual the reception staff were terrific, especially the lady who helped me sort out my faulty mobile phone! The best things about prems are the staff!!
