Located a short walk away from the main train station in Frauenfeld and right in the city center. The hotel is basic but comfortable for a short stay , the reception is not easy to find as it is not visible from the main entrance . However what I do not like about the hotel is that rooms are located in the basement that you need to go down a flight of steps without any elevator ( at least I was not informed ) to get to the room and kind of give you a dungeon feeling. The room I was assigned to is basic but with a large comfortable bed, but it lacks in blocking out the lights from outside and no privacy curtains since the room is almost facing the car park. Overall the stay is acceptable with simple breakfast with freshly prepare scrabbled eggs if you asked for it. The staff is helpful and friendly though.
