You get what you paid for!
Plus:
- The staff is friendly and helpful.
- You have free shampoo and shower gel inside the shower (yeah it is a plus cuz you do not have anything else included if you do not buy it)
- Free water near reception.
- WiFi is decent.
- You have a window in the room
- You have a small TV.
Cons:
- Very small room with Tatami (you will get a blanket and a thin matress to put on top of the tatami)
- You do not have anything included in the price (you have to rent if you want towels, soap, etc)
- Area around looks quite shady, but do not worry it is safe, eventhou you might see homeless people around.

There are insects. I was bitten once in Osaka last year. Because of low immunity, the bites spread all over my limbs and neck and took two months to heal. Fortunately, there were no scars.
This time, I found more than a dozen insects when I entered. I sat for a while, took a shower, and checked out without sleeping. Later, I found that there were still some on my schoolbag.
