We thought that room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of room for two of us. We had the breakfast which was your basic.breakfast. Bagels, muffins, granola bars, cookies, yogurt, coffee and tea. The only things that we could think of that we needed was jelly and cream cheese for the bagels. Everything prepackaged. We stayed for 4 nights. After the first night we saw how dirty the room and bathroom were. There was dried mud on the wall behind the door. There was dirt stains on the bathroom walls and the door handle to the bathroom. Then we noticed the fan that vents the bathroom was filthy. Also the shower curtain rod was loose and causing the shower curtain to fall to the middle creating a two foot space of coverage. We told the front desk about the curtain rod. We didn't say anything else because we were afraid there wouldn't be anywhere else to stay. We hoped that room service would see some of the issues and take care of it. Needless to say nothing was done. On the next night we noticed this awful smell. It was coming from the empty trash can. We lifted up the plastic liner and the smell was horrible so we left the trash can outside of the room. The next day it was put back into our room not cleaned. How anyone couldn't smell it is beyond me. I spent 15 minutes and used the provided washcloth and water to clean the walls and brought it with me to the desk at check out. I explained the situation and was told that they would tell the manager by one of the workers that was cleaning rooms. So I really didn't have much hope that anything would be done. Nothing was offered to me. I will not be returning to this hotel ever and we visit the area ever year. I would not recommend!
