It’s a good hotel and I could stay here again. Pros: Rooms are newly renovated and clean; housekeeping is done daily and they do a good job of replacing towels and disposable items and cleaning the bathroom; washer and dryer are always available for free with laundry detergent; free breakfast is available; ＜10 minutes walk to Shiyang Station. Cons: the hotel and rooms smell heavily of cigarette smoke which is very suffocating (which is why I have it only 4 stars for cleanliness); there is a pool hall on the 4th floor so interesting people walk in and out and make you feel unsafe and uncomfortable; the free breakfast is low quality; no refrigerator or microwave in the room.

I stayed at the Starway Hotel for a week. It was much improved in every aspect compared to the previous Kunlun hotel. After the renovation, the room was comfortable and cost-effective. It is also convenient to eat and shop around the hotel. The only drawback is that the bathroom smells bad every time I go back to the room. , maybe the sewer is not done properly and the smell comes out.
