We loved the Comic Art Hotel. The staff was really friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious (with vegan options included which was great). The artwork everywhere and the themed rooms were fabulous but you don't have to be a comic fan to enjoy this hotel. It's within a few minutes walk from the centre of Ghent, but in a really quiet, beautiful area. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent place to stay. Its location is in a peaceful spot on the side of a canal in a residential area. It is, however, just a five minute.walk from the Leie and the city centre. The room was spotless and well designed, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with a great shower. The breakfast was another highlight, served in a bright cheerful breakfast room. None of this would have been as good were it not for the staff. We found them unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful, and they were central to making our stay such an enjoyable experience.

Well managed Hotel in the old center of the city, inside an old house but inside is totally new excellent breakfast and good staff. The hotel is decorated with illustrations from comic books. It is beautifully located next to a Canal and very quiet.

Staff and cleanliness was top notch. Great location in quiet neighborhood just a 5-10 minute walk from major sites. Beautiful city, well worth an overnight visit. Gorgeous in the day, even more spectacular at night.

Fantastic little hotel just outside the old town, on a super quiet little section of the canal. You can see the castle from here. Easy walking distance of everywhere you want to be, but without the crowds and the noise. Breakfast is good with hot food! No parking on site but they recommended a few garages which are about 6 mins away on foot. I would definitely come back, but maybe not in summer. The "air conditioner" is typical European style which means it doesn't really exist.

My husband and I slept in a very clean 'luxury view room' with shower. The room has a very good bed, even large people will sleep like a rock! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extensive, we loved that first cup of coffee of the day. You have to order your omelet or pancakes, so it was still hot, and there was no waste of food. Comic Art Hotel is nearby 'het Gravensteen'. For Disabled people : room and breakfast room are accessible by elevator. In our room there will be a problem when you want to use the shower.

This beautiful little hotel is ideally placed, a short walk from shops, restaurants & transports facilities, right next to the canal. It’s quiet & the rooms are perfectly sized, with tea/coffee making facilities & a small fridge. Bottled water supplied daily. The comfiest bed I think I have ever slept in. Staff were friendly & more than helpful & the breakfast was absolutely sublime! I have never stayed in a hotel that I would give 10 out of 10, but the Comic Art scores 11/10!

We were thrilled with our stay at the Comic Art Hotel. The room was huge, bed was super comfortable (although everything was down, so if feathers are an issue, mention something for alternate pillows and comforter) and the staff was amazing! Everyday we commented on how helpful and happy everyone was. Everyone we came into contact with was accommodating and friendly. We visited the adjacent bar every night for one last beer and the options were wonderful! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! If you didn't want what the buffet offered they would make you omelettes or pancakes made to order. Don't sleep on this property - it's a winner!
