Palm Heights

"My family has recently returned from a stay at Palm Heights for our fifth visit at that property. The hotel is beautiful, clean and has fantastic amenities. However the key to Palm Heights being such an amazing place to stay is the staff. Every time we have been there, the Palm Heights team has been friendly and incredibly helpful. On this trip we were celebrating a family member’s accomplishment. The desk group worked with me extensively before our trip to arrange meal reservations, spa treatments and a surprise to be in our room upon arrival. Throughout our stay we worked with Luz, who was incredibly helpful and professional in making our trip everything that it could be. Additionally, we have come to know some of the team that works so hard on the beach delivering the luxury of eating sushi from our beach chairs. Victor, Shary and Hassan took great care of the family and allowed for a truly relaxing vacation. We highly recommend Tilly’s, especially on the Burgers and Bubbles night. The food is great and there is nothing better watching the sun set in Cayman while having dinner. The restaurant also has a humidor so we had the opportunity to have cigars on the beach after dinner. Our waiter, Francesco, was a fantastic guide through our meals. My wife and daughter took one day to spend at the spa and loved the experience. My wife would recommend the masseuse Santochi, who provided one of the best massages she has ever had. You will love the property, the amenities and the beach but it is the staff that keeps us returning. We highly recommend this property."

Botanica - Luxury Cottages

"Botanica is a hidden gem that I almost want to keep to myself. We stayed as a 3 generation family in the Deluxe cottage. The cottage is spacious and very well appointed. We prepared some meals, having a private barbecue, and every utensil and cooking pot you could possibly need, including if you want to do some baking. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms beautiful, the indoor and outdoor seating is abundant. We loved having beach bags, umbrella and beach chairs to use. Plus we used both the private pool and resort pool. Every need is considered with fine detail to enable guests to have a relaxed and seamless experience. We rented a vehicle which was very convenient. It is truly a quiet place to unwind."

"An amazing stay at Black Urchin!! We stayed with a group of 9 family members in the Coconut Grove Villa. Everything was top notch from the amenities, to the beds, to the decor, to the amazing views. It was so nice to have paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkel equipment at our disposal with the beach and water only steps away to enjoy a little afternoon adventure. What truly makes this place special is the staff. Fabiola and Badal were beyond fantastic, serving as the concierge team. They helped streamline everying with a lot of pre and during trip planning. Whether it was having groceries orderd and stocked upon arrival or orchestrating services with private chefs, they handled it all with ease and superior professionalism. Shyam served as our villa attendant several days and was always anticipating our needs and providing excellent service. He was very helpful with an elderly family member who needed a lot of assitance, which made things so much easier on us. You can tell they truly enoy their jobs and serving people. I would agree with several other reviews that the location is a bit more secluded but there are restaurants available within a 10-25 min drive. Rum Point and Kaibo are about 25 minutes away. It is a nice locaiton to relax and escape the crowds at the big resorts on 7 mile beach. We hope to be back again!"
