Looking Glass Beachfront Inn

My wife and I had a great night at the Looking Glass Inn. The host was very friendly, full of local knowledge, and cooked an incredible breakfast! I hope we can stay there again next time we're in town!

Beautiful house with the best views of Lake Michigan! Large home able to accommodate a lot of people. Each room has an en-suite. Beds are super comfortable. Great kitchen and large dining area. Will definitely stay there again.

The Looking Glass is a great B&B for anyone wanting to have a traditional friendly B&B experience with a great location on Lake Michigan. The friendly atmosphere and great good were just what we needed.

This B&B is everything you want it to be. It's a comfortable space with indoor and outdoor spaces from which to relax and enjoy the view. Brian was friendly and helpful and his breakfasts are delicious! This was money well spent as a,solo mom who needed to rejuvinate.

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and The Looking Glass Beachfront Inn did not disappoint. Brian is an excellent host with great recommendations for exploring Grand Haven and a great cook—breakfast was delicious! The Sand Room offers an excellent view of Lake Michigan from bed. it was also nice sitting in the living room look or on the deck taking in the views. We plan to return to the Looking Glass Beachfront Inn as soon as our schedule allows.

The location overlooking Lk Michigan is incredible. Add in the 'inclined rail car' from the beach to the front porch makes for a unique experience.

The Looking Glass Beachfront Inn is an amazing place to stay if you're in Grand Haven. We have stayed on three separate occasions. We decided to take our 21-months old daughter on her first family trip during our last visit. I was a bit anxious about it because I didn't want her to ruin anyone else's stay, but everyone was so friendly and understanding. I am extremely thankful that it is kid-friendly; although most of the other guests will be adults from all over the US and other countries. Brian is a wonderful host. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and provides great recommendations. He is friendly, personable, and does a great job making you feel right at home. The Inn itself is comfortable with an amazing view. It's right across the street from the beach. And it's super close to downtown Grand Haven. There are so many restaurants within walking distance that there never seems to be a shortage of places to eat. My only word of caution is that the inn does sit on a sand dune and isn't completely level. If you have trouble with several stairs and/or balance, it may not be the right place for you. Final thought: I'd highly recommend this inn.

This was our first ever B&B experience and it set the bar high. Our stay was incredibly comfortable complete with a cozy room and wonderful hospitality. Brian was super knowledgeable about the area and provided solid recommendations. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

There are alot of stairs but it is worth the view. Breakfast was excellent.
