Upon arrival we were greeted at the front desk with a small wait. After getting settled in assigned our room we noticed something flying around the room. After review we discovered they were ladybugs. Went to the front desk to complain, asking for another room but was told they will booked and there was nothing they could do. After the discussion housekeeping was sent to clean our room. The next morning ladybugs were still visible. Checking behind chairs and pulling back the curtains is where we discovered the small infestation of ladybugs. Went to the front desk to ask for compensation, due to booking through a third party the hotel was only able to offer us breakfast and second cleaning of our room. Upon checking out we were told by the front desk clerk the ladybug issue is normal this time of the year. My response was, "wait a minute so you guys knew this was going on and you still rented us the room on that floor?" Ugh. The staff was not very accommodating with the situation. Something more should have been done and the rooms on that floor should not be rented out until that situation is resolved.
