Stayed at the Citynote guangyuanqian Hotel. The lobby staff is friendly and helpful. The bed in family room type is solid and not those soft soft type. Good for resting. Hotel location is great. Nearby metro station and most of the place of interest are actually within walking distance. When coming out of the hotel, turning left can reach 大佛寺， famous tim sum restaurants, turning right will lead to another famous 惠福东路 food street. 30 mins to airport by taxi (about RMB 147 to 180).

Nice casual setting with good breakfast. Central area on Beijing Road. Lots of food options nearby. Entrance is outside via elevators. Can be a bit of a wait to get in/out due to the single elevator. Clean rooms, quiet despite the location. Can hear occasional mildly loud honks.

Good location, right next to dafosi and Beijing shopping street, room is smaller than expected but given the price paid and also the good location, it is value for money.
Cleaniness needs to be improved, and the room seems to be aged.

Convenient location that's jus next to 1 of the tourist spots with lots of shopping and endless food eateries around the hotel.
Easy accessibility to the public transport via metro with various stations nearby.

Overall is good , only that facing mainroad abit noisy when open windows. Toilet fully covered glass. Not convinced for friends stating together

Today is second day check in Citynote，The breakfast have lots of kinds and change each day.They have a nice lobby here，warm lights. If the lady at front table show some nice face to us，that will be Perfect!

Checking in was a quick process and apparently this hotel chain is a big player in Guangzhou so expect a lot of activities. Housekeeping is provided daily but they missed out on the bed for one day during my stay. Breakfast is simple but good with drinks and limited fruits. Location is very convenient as it’s right smack at Beijing Road. As mentioned by other travelers, there’s only one elevator serving the entire building so expect a longer waiting time. The bonus about this hotel is their free laundry service.
