The Centennial Hotel Gulgong

Best food I’ve ever had! The portions are huge and the lamb crumb cutlets are a must try! The chef knows exactly what he is doing. I will be going back to try every item on the menu. Accomodation is quiet and private. I recommend to everyone! Seriously the best food ever! Congrats to the new owners

Just had a delicious meal at Centennial Hotel Gulgong on a monday night. The food was delicious, the price was appropriate and the service was exceptional, friendly and efficient. Congratulations to the new owners. We will definitely be returning !

Fantastic lunch. Best crumbed lamb cutlets ever. Luckily only ordered 2 as they were huge. Peri Peri chicken burger and steak sandwich both great as well. Very good value for money and friendly staff. If you are in the area you must go in and have a meal.

The best food, best rooms, best beer. Hands down would recommend! The new owners have really turned the pub around, love the positive attitude and the brilliant attitude of the staff. The great vibes radiate through the atmosphere of the pub

Tasty budget priced meals I had Sausages, mashed spud , peas and gravy. My husband ate grilled chicken breast , salad and chips. The place was busy , mainly with men, who look like fly in , fly out workers. Our meals came out to us quickly. We were happy with the quality. Drinks are also reasonable prices.

We arrived in Gulgong at 7.30pm, the Centennial was across the road so we popped in to sr what was on the menu. The prices were great so I wondered about the size of the meals, I saw a few plates going back to the kitchen with food still on them. The food arrived, having my hands full a lovely young lady from the kitchen bought the plates to my table. I've added a photo of the food we got -$45 worth, and it was delicious. We couldn't eat it all. Hubby bought the beers and commented on how lovely the staff were, he was impressed by how keen the staff were to work.

Very cold day in June, dining room was freezing. Venue had a fire but not lit. All diners ate in large winter jackets sitting inside. Food was average. Ordered our food options, to watch the food sit on the counter for at least 10mins whilst they prepared the final meal (which was not hot) then our beeper rang. Hot chips were cold and oily on arrival we ordered arancini for light lunch. Extremely over fried and not drained, the burnt oil taste was overwhelming. The filling was dry and tasteless. Disappointed with the dish. Lovely courtyard and bar. Filled with locals on a Friday afternoon. Bar staff are up for a chat with the local patrons though, so expect a delay in service at the bar. Appears to be a great pub for locals.

Friendliest staff delicious lunch burger special $14! Staff so friendly outdoor area shady and welcoming and dog friendly ! Loved the town of Gulgong our stay was great! I hope more visitors come out here no flooding.

Girl in bar lovely lunch very average. Lamb cutlets fatty & deep fried $ 28. Entire plate filed with chips & 2 cutlets on top. Salad ok. Hubby had parmy. Chicken nice potato, pre made & dry. He found piece of plastic (so dangerous if swallowed) & took to food counter. "Sorry" & threw in bin! 😪 Sorry other places to eat next time.
