We stayed at the castle hotel. It’s an odd listing that combines so many different hotels, camping, cabins, etc into one. Had a good stay. We stayed at the Legoland hotel in San Diego and this was close to a carbon copy. Some of the complaints are valid ie no cups in the room. That said, it had everything we needed (although a small microwave would’ve been nice). Housekeeping was outstanding and we came home to a clean room everyday. The walk between the hotel and the park is a bit long and we were on the closet hotel. It’s not awful, just a bit draining after a long day at a theme park. Also really impressed by the hot water (random, I know), but it was almost instantaneous and welcomed after chilly days. The dining situation was a bit frustrating- you really need reservations for the restaurants in the evenings. they were booked solid one night, which can be difficult when meal planning with small children. Take out / to go options would have been helpful. Breakfast was great and never felt overly crowded. Pancakes would have been a nice addition as well as a standalone hot chocolate machine (vs having to wait for folks to get coffee and then hot chocolate). We were surprised by the amount of smokers and the general disrespect for smoking vs non-smoking areas outside and in the park (the smoking areas tended to be places that you had to walk through, not odd to the side / out of the way).

Very pricy rooms, but an onforgettable stay for small fans of Lego. Rooms are relatively small and even the most expensive rooms miss basic necessities one would expect of rooms this pricy (a simple glass or cup in the (bath)room, and airconditioning that is not up to the job). Playgrounds are widely available and parking is close to the various hotel buildings. We had hotel rooms at the Königsburcht, which were well cleaned. Be advised that children sleep in a bunk bed.

Prices are just absurd. 3.75€ for 0.5 of coke, 6.7€ for bottle of still water? It is just a total ripoff. And the hotel rooms don't even have air conditioning! I was ready that this type of vacation is not cheap but i hoped that for this price range i would receive some level of basic comfort.

We stayed in the NinjaGo district, of course the hotel and room are a kid's dream. We liked the decorations and the small game to find the treasure in the room. The room's size is decent, I thought the room was actually larger, especially the kid's room. I did not like the mattresses (too soft) and the pillows (but I also understand this is my personal opinion), and I would have add a mosquito net at the window, since the room is near a pond and it could be that mosquito or flies are coming in the room. Overall, it was a super nice experience, there are a lot of playground for kids to play and also some good alternatives for dinner. Breakfast (included in my rate) was really good and the staff was super helpful and nice. We were there during the week, so maybe during the weekend and during the summer holidays, so for us there were no problems at all with overcrowding or anything else. Parking is also really close to the hotel and the reception's staff was nice and helpful.

We stayed on ninjago, very lovely. The detalis are very nice. You must eat at hungry bear restaurant - you have lots to choose, many side dishes, stuff is amazingly friendly and food super. You have a place to play for kids.

We stayed here during the Easter holidays and it was really lovely. We had a room in the castle and we could see the park from our room. The kids enjoyed having their own little room in the front. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The shower is with a rain shower and they provide soap, but not conditioner, so bring your own if that’s important to you. The whole village is really super for families, with playgrounds everywhere, mini golf (for an extra fee) and a high ropes course (also with a fee). We had breakfast in the castle restaurant and dinners at the Jungle Buffet. I would say breakfast is pretty good, sometimes a little chaotic with so many people, but they do a good job of keeping things orderly. Also at the Jungle Buffet, we liked that the drinks are included and there was fairly okay variety for food options. Some small details are a bit missing - for example the “treasure hunt” resulted in the wrong code, and this was not user error. The hunt was likely referencing a different Lego display than what was in the lobby. The towels could definitely use a little refresh, but they are still okay. At many other theme parks, when you stay at the associated hotel, you also get early entry into the park. This is not the case at LEGOLAND Germany. All in all, I would most definitely recommend the LEGOLAND resort for families with children under 10.

It was a great stay in the Ninjago Theme Room, great experience in the lego land park and very helpful+superfriendly personnel here and there. Took the Pirate's dinner, the included breakfast - excellent and a lot of variety. Super clean room and all the details around, fully amazing. For everyone who likes LEGO, an absolute MUST. Had a 2-day pass to the Legoland, we didn't take advantage of express pass (took the most important rides already early the day) - other rides with short or even no waiting queue then later the day. Of course a lot of lego stuff to buy everywhere, prices are too high of course. You rather buy it for less wherever else :) Try to be there a bit earlier than 10:00, on the 2 days we were there, they opened at 9:30. Overall we might come again and try another theme room or an external accommodation.

Our entire experience was really great. However, I am specifically writing to tell you about the outstanding dinner we had in the steakhouse. First of all, our waitress (Pauline i think) was AMAZING! Funny, friendly, professional, knowledgeable... she was fantastic. That alone would have made this great. But, the food (steak) cooked by Timothy was the best I have had in 27 years in Germany. We were so well taken care of I just had to write and compliment these outstanding employees. I wish we could eat there every week. To ensure we give credit to the correct server, we were family Ritch room 127 and we had a 1900 reservation on 30 Aug. Thank you all!

Just like when we came last year, the camping is still the cleanest ever! Great showers, toilets, free washing machine, free dryer, tent herrings and power cable (against a deposit) available at reception and close to the Legoland entry! Absolutely super! Note that, as mentioned on the Legoland website, the ground is hard! But the special tent herrings available at reception will help you deal with that easily.

It was our best experience ever! And our little boy was thrilled! The park is amazing, the hotel is wonderful and the staff is very kind! Legoland is a place where every kid (and adult as well) has to go at least once in a lifetime!

We cannot understand the many positive reviews! The employees were not particularly friendly, there was a certain discontent. The price structure is inadequate and inflexible: We only arrived at 2 p.m., but still had to buy a full day ticket at an unbelievably high price of over 60 euros per person(!), which we would almost call extortionate considering the inadequate service we received in return! Legoland is beautiful, but it is showing its age and is in dire need of renovation. We were also told that Legoland closes at 6 p.m., but almost all areas - except for the sales boutique at the exit - closed at 5 p.m., so we paid 120 euros for 3 hours for two people, which made the price-performance ratio EVEN worse! You get much more for the same money at EUROPAPARK Rust! We therefore cannot recommend Legoland and advise against a visit!

The holiday village was great with a wide variety of food and clean, coolly designed rooms. The complex was impressively large and offered a variety of activities for all ages. Whether it was dinner at the jungle buffet or breakfast in the pirate tavern - there was always something for every taste. Drinks were included. The variety of food ranged from juicy meat dishes to delicious vegan alternatives. We were delighted by the loving decoration and the small details that made the room a real highlight. The treasure hunt, where you could open a chest at the end, was particularly exciting! The staff were always friendly and helpful. No matter what our concerns were (before and during our stay). Even when I called after booking and asked if I could get the room next to my sister. Everything worked out without any problems. The only downside were the annoying mosquitoes outside, so you should always have insect spray to hand. In summary, our stay in the holiday village was an unforgettable experience. The excellent food, the beautiful and clean room and the friendly staff made the weekend a complete success. We would come back anytime and can warmly recommend the holiday village.

We stayed in the Forest Adventure Lodge and were completely satisfied. Early check-in and late check-out worked without any problems. The rooms were clean and completely functional for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately, we noticed that all the playgrounds are not designed to be inclusive. In the park itself, the flooring is such that children in wheelchairs or parents in wheelchairs with their children can reach the play equipment. This is not possible in the holiday village due to sand etc. It would be nice if all the children could play together here too and if there were some inclusive play equipment that all children could use. This would make the stay even more enjoyable for families with disabled children.
