All the reviews are spot on and so glad we chose these studios, so much so I want to keep them to myself 😉. George and Sophia are fantastic hosts and George cannot do enough for you and very hands on and always available. The apartments are much better standard than we have stayed in before in Greece and every apartment has a beautiful sea view. The block next to reception has full with the others having a partial sea view but still amazing. Rooms are cleaned daily with towels changed every 3 days. Would say the only thing missing is a toaster, sharp knife to cut bread and tea towel but apart from that has everything you need. Ours was 107 on ground floor and had the afternoon sun on our terrace. The view from the bar and pool area is exceptional, even saw dolphins a couple of days. The pool area is lovely and clean and the sun beds very comfortable with a thick pad, plenty of them so no need to do the crack of dawn towel race. If you are debating whether to have the breakfast, I would highly recommend, beautiful fresh food and exceptional service. Indeed every meal we had was really nice and great value. Only a 5 mins walk Afytos to which is a lovely little town with lots of restaurants, tavernas and shops with a gorgeous church set in the town square. Can imagine it will be extremely busy in high season as undoubtedly the prettiest town on the first leg of Halkidiki. We hired a car at the airport but again this is something George will happily help with. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. Tip: if you hire a car from the airport, all the companies are situated in Terminal 2.

This was our second visit to the Aegean Blue. We don't usually return to the same place twice but we had such a good time the first time that we booked again. We had a warm welcome when we arrived and our room (109) was as perfect as it was last time. Spacious, clean and always hot water. George and Sofia make sure that you are made welcome during your stay and go out of their way to talk to you and make you feel more like you are part of their family than a guest. Amelia served us with a smile and a warm welcome everyday at the bar (she makes the best Frappes) and the chef was great, all her food was lovely. I only eat really small meals and Amelia was always happy to just give me a side plate so I could share hubby's lunch. The views from the glass balcony for breakfast and lunch were amazing. You can see all along the coast. It's a short walk in to town but the meals served at the bar were perfect for breakfast and lunch and one evening when we had rain we also ate there and really reasonable prices and they will usually accommodate any requests as well. The pool area is kept lovely and clean and when there was the storm whilst we were there, the next day George and a helper spent the whole day clearing the pool. During the two weeks we were there the grass was cut twice which shows how much pride they take in the grounds. George was constantly making sure that everything was perfect throughout the day, he never seemed to rest. We'd definitely return to Aegean Blue in a few years and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you George, Sofia and Amelia for making it so great.

We had a wonderful holiday at these apartments. The hosts Sofia and George are lovely people and so are the rest of the staff. The apartments have lovely views to the sea and the second peninsula of Halkidiki. View from our balcony was lovely and if you have an apartment in the block where the office is you get shade on the balcony in the afternoon which was good considering the august heat, much preferable for us. If you want afternoon sun on the balcony try to get an apartment in the side facing block. It’s a 5-10 minute flat walk into Afitos where there are numerous places to dine and drink. Afitos is a lovely village, extremely busy in August! Our favourite tavernas were Steki, ,Soborro, the one with the red tablecloths going up some stairs in the middle of the village near the church (maybe our favourite yes I should know the name). There are loads we didn’t try and the ones on the cliff top are lovely too with fabulous views. Boom these apartments you won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous little jewel of a find. Sofia and George could not be more welcoming and look after you so well. Rooms spotlessly cleaned every day and clean linen every 3 days. We had the most amazing sea view from our balcony (rm 209). Great pool bar with good food and specials most lunchtimes. A five minute walk into the town where there’s a huge choice of places to shop and eat.

Honestly the loveliest place. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We arrived late and George kept the bar open for us. He kept popping into the kitchen to bring us lovely bits to eat and lots of ouzo. This set the tone for the whole holiday. It's such a stunning location with amazing views, although quite high up you can still hear the waves. The walk down to the beach is quite steep but what a lovely quiet white sand beach. A short walk into Afitos which is gorgeously Greek with lots of lovely bars and tavernas. We got back last night and have already booked again for next year. Thank you so much George, Sofia and Amalia for everything, see you next year.

Arrival; We arrived at the Aegean Blue Studios to a very warm welcome from George, Sophia, and Amalia, including a small toast toast in true Greek fashion. (Greek hospitality at its finest) We immediately felt we had come to the right place. The private complex is beautifully maintained with lush green lawns, manicured flower pots, and an incredibly clean pool/sunbathing area. There are more than enough sunbeds (all of which were in perfect working order, with thick cushions/covers) for those who have come for a relaxing break. There are plenty of shaded areas for when the Sun is high in the sky. The Pools are meticulously maintained. The pool bar is open from Breakfast until bedtime, the service excellent, the prices pitched about right. The breakfast is excellent, the Salads are fresh and nicely dressed. (Ceasar Salad my lunchtime favourite) The menu is limited as there are many Tavernas only a short walk away. The views are absolutely stunning! The Rooms; The rooms are very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed is large (and firm) with crisp white sheets and a choice of pillows. The bathroom is small, but again, spotless. Their is a 'Fixed Hairdryer' attached to the wall, which my partner found adequate. There is a welcome/starter pack with shower gel, conditioner and local soap. Kitchen Area; The usual facilities are in place; Kettle, two electric rings, fridge under the sink/drainer. Ample crockery, Cutlery etc. All opening windows and balcony doors have Anti-mozzie nets which are all like new. The balcony is small but has ample room for the table and chairs, and the views are spectacular. All rooms have Air-Con, free of charge, a T.V. and plenty of power outlets, wardrobe, dressing table, etc... There is a 'Quiet Time' in place from 15;30-1700, which I thought was an excellent idea. The general rule is that this is an 'Adults Only' resort. We found all of the guests were a similar age to us (Middle-aged) with no noisy teens blaring music or coming in at 04;00 in the morning. The Aegean Blue is one of the best places we have stayed in Greece. we were looking to book again 3 days into our week. We loved it. Thank you George, Sophia, and Amalia, see you again soon. Derek & Linda.

This has to be the most fabulous place I have ever been. To start off the view upon entering the small, well maintained and pretty complex is breathtaking. We had a lovely room with a huge bed. It was very clean. Room serviced every day and bed and towels changed every third day. Beautiful view from our little studio. The hospitality from the owners George and Sofia along with Amaleigha at the pool bar/restaurant is overwhelming. They couldn't do enough for us and know all their guests by first name. It's a very personal, genuine service. The food at the pool bar is fabulous (special mention to the unseen female chef who cooked during the day). Strongly recommend the club sandwich and the caesar salad. Although everything is excellent. The homemade fries are heavenly. The view from the glass balcony is spectacular. Pool is very clean and refreshing with a nice little seated spa area. Plenty of very comfortable sunloungers and shade. The only thing missing from the studios was a toaster and a wee bit more work surface in the kitchen. It really is just a sink with a draining board and 2 cooking rings. Couldn't really prepare much more than a salad and baguette. But we ate out mostly so didn't bother us. Afytos itself is simply beautiful. Very authentic and not commercialised. Spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink. Lots of little cobbled streets and a beautiful church in the square. The studios are nearest to Punta beach which is directly below. The sand is white and fine and the water is crystal clear. Absolute heaven. It's about a ten minute walk downhill. Coming back is a bit of a challenge but worth it. We went daily. For those who are a bit unsteady you can easily get a friendly taxi from the village or Sofia will book you one. The taxi driver will give you a number to call back when you want to return. We hired a car through George for a day and the price was very reasonable. We drove round the Kassandra peninsula. Its lovely but just confirmed to us that there is nowhere as beautiful as Afytos. We will definitely return.
