Hotel Grüne Tanne

Hamburg|0.92km from Zwangsarbeiter Gedenkstätte
The hotel is located directly on the well-beaten Bremer Street. 3 days stay 6/2021 /Zimmer 45€, breakfast 9.50€. Before the entrance unherb from the stone plates, kittens, laundry, not flattened. Reception unpacked, then staff found in the kitchen. The room allowed the thin wall to hear the telephone call, windows could not be opened at 30 degrees heat due to traffic noise. After reclame, new room was easy, but smaller but quieter. At the room door sticks any stick, no plan, garden without stops and with missing rolls, hang around accordingly. Pomme fritter on the ground, dust surfacely washed, chair dirty. 3qm-Dusche/Klo/Waschbecken, no hook for towel, shower tube equilly calcified, TV: No signal. Breakfast moderate, factory breads, egg cups but no eggs, no fruit, nothing for food allergic. All lovely without staff in the room. Tellers with fat tears, everything somewhat smooth and improvised. Firstly, after payment, only the expression of the credit card reader should be handed over to me as a credit card, after complaining, a printed, unused bill for the financial office only over the total amount. It is the impression that no one has gastronomic training there and knows what service and cleanliness means, staff is hard, but is therefore overloaded. Don't know where the 3 stars should come from booking.com. For back travelers may be OK. The hotel actually calls Musa's Green Tanne, on the key is Hotel MUSA (Arabic: Moses) and is quite downgraded after m.M.. Not recommended.

We had booked an Elbphilharmonie Suite, which turned out to be a gorgeous light room with three ceiling to floor windows overlooking the harbour and the city. It had a huge comfortable bed with perfect (for me) pillows, a desk, lots of chairs and sofas, a fridge, kettle and mugs. The bathroom had another ceiling to floor window and a bath, separate shower and separate wc. There were some really nice touches such as mirrors on the ceiling of the top shelves, so that you could see what was on them, small windows that opened and hooks by the front door (though none in the bathroom!). There were no USBs but plenty of sockets. The A/C was easy to set and worked quite well, but we kept the curtains drawn during the morning when the sun was directly on the room. Turndown offered more interesting ideas such as sunscreen (which was brilliant and useful), foot cream and Mentos as well as a chocolate on the last night. We had breakfast in the hotel on first and last mornings: excellent hot and cold buffet with bacon, fried and scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, sausages and potatoes as well as loads of pasties and other options. We also used the Blick Bar, which had very good service. We had beers and potato crisps as well as good cocktails and mocktails: it is quite expensive though.

Very modern and Skandinavian design rooms. Perfectly located in front of Hamburg Harburg train station. Shopping Mall and Cinemax are just a few minutes walk. The only thing I disliked was very strong sewage smell in the bathroom, unfortunately this sometimes happens and the accommodation cannot do much to avoid it.

The lack of air conditioning in this hotel is really no big deal compared to others. Their baby cot is not clean, my child slept in their bed for two nights, he likes to sleep on his side and on his stomach, and his face is allergic to any part of the bed that touches the sheets. When I spoke to the hotel, they admitted that it was the hotel's responsibility and said that they could pay for an ointment so that I could go to the pharmacy and buy it myself. Amazingly, almost all the staff at the hotel had a very poor attitude, didn't care about the child, privately divulged personal information about the residents as a topic of discussion at work (every staff member knew about our personal matters/information, even those I had never seen) and even asked me if you wanted to call an ambulance for such a small matter. I cancelled my whole day plam and took a taxi to the pharmacy, which cost over 60 euros, and in the end the hotel only gave me 5 euro for the ointment, saying that I took a taxi to a pharmacy that was too far away and they couldn't cover the taxi costs, and the manager said that the only place they could pay for was a taxi to 10 euros, so they refused to pay for the journey??? But they didn't say any of that before I left, I was just told to take my own taxi to the pharmacy and they knew we were leaving that day so they made a very perfunctory promise which was all overturned. The important thing is that I paid 100€ for this baby cot and it was still not clean, finally I spoke to the manager and I said I paid 100€ only to get the cot and he said you have checked out and everything is sorted I don't know what is in your room now? !!!Anyway don't bring your children to this dangerous hotel, the staff were very dishonest and went as far as to say the room had been cleaned to destroy the evidence.

We have noted the following about our hotel stay: Advantages of the hotel: • Large, beautiful rooms • Good view • Great location, within cycling distance to the city • Option to rent bicycles or bring your own Disadvantages of the hotel: • No cleaning at the hotel during the time you stay there - it would have been nice to have the trash emptied and refilled with toilet paper and dishwasher tabs - we only got extra toilet paper because we said we were running out completely • Noise from the cobblestones in the road by the hotel • Very expensive parking • Expensive hotel in relation to the fact that our price was without breakfast and without cleaning en route • Too few crockery and cutlery in the kitchen
