Honest review from an English couple… After reading glowing reviews we couldn’t wait to come here…however don’t believe all these “perfect” reviews! gorgeous beach where the hotels are located (further up isn’t so pretty if you go for a walk left up the beach!) Entertainment team work very hard but very full on - reminded us of butlins so we avoid the pool area. Even on the beach the bug you abit. Evening entertainment “butlins” and kids entertainment goes on until 9.30/10pm. Then bingo which takes forever!😂 Rooms dated but functional, shower door doesn’t fit so flooded bathroom every time. On arrival- aircon wasn’t working, shower head broken so maintenance had to fix it. Safe batteries kept falling out so maintenance had to open safe as well when that happens. Food poor - (we aren’t fussy eaters at all) but flies all over food, fish lots of bones,no real flavour etc struggled in the hall on a couple of occasions, Asian abit naff so didn’t bother with the other 2 al la carte after talking to others. Desserts - lovely! Beach fresh cooked section better. Drinks not to bad but quite weak. Beer easy to drink. We ate out a few nights to avoid crowded hall. La Bella just down the road - Amazing food and service!! Well worth a visit. Also bee hive do gorgeous milkshakes! Local shops friendly ideal for gifts etc. Outside hotel has a real cat “issue” very sad to see. We visited the marina not much there to be honest apart from hassle from locals! Hammamet lovely to visit, much calmer although local still pester you a little. Taxis very cheap! Not much to do around hotel unless you get taxi. Tiger - super staff member he needs a pay rise! No real security on beach only 1 or 2 police on horse back do a lap on beach once a day. Lots of sellers on beach who bug you everyday all day although they don’t come right upto you on beds. Lots of wasps around drinks at self service on beach! Fridge in room but empty- no water left for you. No milk but you get tea,coffee,1 mug and 2 dirty glasses.wifi pretty poor only can get it at main reception or beach reception. Bit of a guessing game on where and what to do at hotel as you get some info when you arrive which you forget as your so tired from travelling! Map they give u doesn’t help much as some places in wrong location on map! Some staff quite rude mainly beach restaurant. Not many English there mainly French & German who are quite rude and push in etc. Overall it was a nice holiday as we made the most of it but we unfortunately wouldn’t return.

Pros stayed in a sea view room which was lovely, big and clean. Breakfast was good, fresh eggs omelettes, fried, boiled and scrambled. The beach is lovely, plenty of sun loungers no need to head down to early, security on the beach all day who was a great guy. The staff are very nice especially the breakfast and dinner staff. The entertainment team were also very nice. Fresh cocktail between 6-7pm near the stage were lovely. Cons: Shower rubbish as glass door to small so water gets everywhere, room is a little dated and the bed was hard. Balcony nice but when you sit there is no view as it’s a wall not bars, so you stand to enjoy the view. Beach bar is not so good bees all over the soda machine as probably not cleaned enough during the day, beach drinks limited, beer, soda, juice, no cocktails. Snack bar on beach was shut the whole week so if you wanted a snack you had to go for crepes near the pool. A la carte menu for Italian, the main meal wasn’t Italian and the dessert was lemon meringue pie.. but it was tasty. The meals are hit and miss and not very warm at times not sure why reviews say amazing!!.. lots of liver going on, and waiters set up tables for guests that tip which isn’t fair! Pasta man at dinner was great, had pasta most nights. No Diet Coke only Coke Zero which seems to be normal in all shops too. Entertainment team was good but some of the shows were rubbish, Hollywood night was the best, snake charmer was Animal cruelty! A lot of cons but nothing major would still visit again. Local area not great at all but marina is lovely only £2.50 for a taxi there. Beware of your wrist band locals see it and say they are a chef at the hotel and lead you to a bazaar, just say hello and walk off. Overall a lovely hotel and would visit again x

I'd like to say a massive thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in Tunisia at Les Orangers resort. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday. My family and I couldn't fault the hotel. Our rooms were cleaned every day, the food in all the restaurants was amazing, the staff were exceptional, the beach was beautiful and I will certainly be recommending Tunisia and Les Orangers to my customers, friends and family and to anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday. We're already at looking at coming back next year with the extended family. Thank you again, can't wait to return!

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful week I have just had with my boys. My friend and her daughter booked and came for some of the week too. They also had a wonderful time. I had tears from my youngest when we left. We all loved Gardens but they had a blast at the Beach hotel. The whole team made us feel so welcome. The waiting staff were so attentive, everyone was super friendly and the animation team just brilliant. A special shout out goes to Harry on the entertainment team. He really made the week for them. Thank you so so much again!

It may just have been 3 star rating but the excellent and friendly service provided by all staff from Security, gardens, maids but mostly barmen and entertainment staff raised it to 4 for me. The rooms were fine but in need of refurb especially the shower.the maid Mona was friendly and efficient. The seaview from balcony was excellent The food was either a hit or a miss, either absolutely brilliant or dire. Breakfast was very poor compared to other hotels I have been to in Hammamet. The highlight being the omelette cooked to your choice. Lunch was good and again they cook pizzas, noodles , curries and fish to your request. Excellent and was my fave meal of the day. My advice show a little appreciation to your chef. At night I went to Italian Restaurant once and in retrospect wish I had gone more often. In the main buffet restaurant for Dinner choice was very poor.the Tunisian night especially the Brik was good, Roast Turkey one night wss good. But basically I stuck with the Sea Bass. The entertainment team led by Rio were excellent. The shows were good especially the choreography. I liked some of the pre dinner entertainment too.. Only slight criticism if you are here for 2 weeks basically just same shows.. The bar staff were hard working and attentive .All of them were pleasant and excellent but special mention to Hatem,Ben and Tiger. The reception staff were all helpful and pleasant. So all in all was an excellent holiday but slightly disappointed with food. Would I come back? Yes if price was right. Garry x

This was our first visit at this hotel and visiting Tunisia after over20 years. We did not venture out very much and had a very relaxing stay at this hotel. The entertainment staff were exceptionally pleasent and always encouraging you to take part and always had time for a friendly chat. The Sea view rooms had a very nice view. The food was a little difficult for veggies but this was realyed to the reception desk. On the plus side they give you a free 15 minue massage!

We spent a week in Orangers Beach Resort in June 2023 and I have to say we had a fantastic time. The weather was great and we spent a week relaxing on the Beach and by the pool. The beach would fit in on any Caribbean Island with is white sand. We used to love having lunch down at the beach restaurant which great with so many different options to choose from. Pizza from the oven, fresh grilled fish, local Tunisian cuisine as well as a healthy buffet. There was night time entertainment on each night to keep you entertained, but I would say the kindness and overall help from all the staff made it. It was a pleasure to be there and we will be returning at some point. We did take a visit to its sister hotel next door 5* Orangers Garden and that is stunning. So maybe we will head there next time. We would like to thank Sami Tounsi for all his help organising our trip and we have recommended a visit to lots of family and friends.
