Barncroft Luxury Bed & Breakfast

Standards are well-maintained by the excellent Vicky & her husband at this really good B&B close to the NEC. The rooms are spacious and extremely well equipped, plenty of helpful local advice is on offer, and compared to what you’d have to pay at a local hotel the whole experience is brilliant value. I’m always happy to return.

Probably the friendliest and most comfortable guest house I have stayed at.... I needed nothing more than a bed for the night whilst my wife was in hospital. What I received was a WOW experience from the moment I arrived through to the moment I left. Vicky greeted me and remembered the reason I had booked the room, asking about my wife. I was shown to my room which had the most comfortable bed, a piping hot shower, and every other convenience you would hope for. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels paying £250+ a night with less on offer. Breakfast had an enormous array of cereals, fruit, yogurts, oat milk, soya milk etc as well as full English breakfast cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. If I have reason to stay in Solihull again this will be my go-to place. Amazing customer service Vicky, thank you.

I have just got back from a 2 night stay at this amazing hidden gem. The sight when entering from the main road is stunning. As soon as you enter the guest house, its impossible not to gasp 'wow'. I was offered a choice of 2 rooms. I chose one at the front with a patio. Although it was off a busy main road, it wasnt overly noisy and didnt hear anything at night. The room was cosy and very clean. It had everything you could want and need. Water, biscuits, fresh milk all there along with tea (inc green, decaf etc) hot chocolate and squash sachets. Breakfast was amazing. Such a vast array of milk, fruit, cereal, orange juice, teas, pastries, yogurts, and full breakfast or select what you want from the menu...nothing is too much trouble! I found Vicky very warm and welcoming and so caring. She is someone who is passionate about her business and takes pride in everything she does. Her main priority comes across as "if my guests are happy, then so am i" As i left today, i was determined i would be back, so much so, I prebooked for a September stay. Cant wait ! Absolutely wonderful. My mum and I traveled for business and needed a cosy stop over for 3 night's. Barncroft was absolutely above and beyond. 10/10 for cleanliness, service was welcoming and friendly. Really quiet room with very comfy beds. Wonderful breakfast every morning with full dietary options for all. Couldn't fault it

Just arrived later than anticipated. Vicky was greeting me within minutes of arriving. Very, very professional & welcoming. Facilities & nearby amenities explained in detail. Premises immaculate & well presented. Very friendly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or come back should I need accommodation in this area again. Plus, very easy to get to from the North & I'd think it would be the same from other directions.

This place is just beautiful! Situated in a quiet remote road but not far from local shops and is just a 10 minute drive to Birmingham airport and station. When we arrived the host could not have been any nicer and friendly and was extremely helpful. The room we were given was very spacious and calming and had 2 large comfy beds. The place was very clean and also very stylish. The shower was also great! We only stayed one night but we would 100% recommend as it is definitely a little hidden gem of a place!

First time I stayed here to attend an expo at the NEC. And oh my days! What a fabulous little gem. Vicky is so welcoming and extremely helpful. Had an amazing breakfast and as I’m not a fan of hash browns she did me my fave, fried bread!

Stayed just one night but was fabulous. Vicky was very welcoming and the accommodation was of a very high standard throughout. Lovely cooked breakfast with a fantastic choice of cereals/ spreads/jams also. Great location for NEC. Will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely warm welcome from Vicky on arrival. Our room overlooked the garden and we had a double bed each which were so comfortable I did not want to get out of it. The room had everything we needed for our stay including a lovely tea tray. Breakfast was wonderful especially the Barncroft special. There was a wide selection of cereals, yoghurts and delicious fresh raspberries and strawberries. Set up for the day we went to the NEC, which is only a five minute drive away.
