Holiday Inn Harare

Clean and comfortable with good parking but a lot could be improved. Check in was inefficient with us being allocated the wrong type of room. When pointed out there was no apology. Food was very average. Bar good but too small for number of guests. Breakfast service was good. Room was okay but bathroom small and extractor fan not working. Well below normal Holiday Inn standards.

Margot and her team went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and any needs and requests were promptly and efficiently dealt with. The Lodge is set within a lush garden landscape and rooms and common areas are clean and beautifully appointed. The meals were generous, delicious and varied. This was a wonderful base from which to explore Harare and surrounding areas. We would totally recommend York Lodge to anybody making a visit to Harare
