Roc Presidente Hotel

The service attitude is very good and any problems will be solved. I helped solve the several problems with surfing the Internet. The breakfast is very rich, especially the various freshly squeezed juices 🍹. The location is very good, just around the corner is the seaside, perfect for watching the sunset. like!

The room was very old, poor breakfast, pool under renovation, paid internet, broken plumbing. To stop for 1-2 days you can be patient

Well, it's a pretty crappy hotel. The toilet broke, fortunately it was not critical. Rubber food like everywhere else in Cuba. Very long wait for your included dinner. Vedolo is a good area in my opinion. The center is 10 minutes by taxi. They make delicious coffee. There are plenty of towels. Yes!!! Dogs bark at night! All night long . Every night … Number cards are regularly demagnetized every day.

It so happened that in a short time I stayed at the hotel twice, so I am writing two reviews in one day. In general, the hotel is truly wonderful - everything is well built, beautiful, comfortable and stylish (the hotel has been open since 1929 and, in general, has retained its style with a few exceptions). Initially, they worked on it thoroughly, and the result did not disappoint - truly good things do not lose their class with age, but, on the contrary, acquire additional dignity, like cognac or aged rum). The attitude of the staff - sincere and caring - adds to the sensations (or rather, elevates them to a degree). Met guests here who always stay at this hotel when they come to Havana. Apparently I will be such a person now))

The facilities are slightly older, the service is good, and it is convenient to travel. The local name is Hotel Presidente. You can tell the driver this name when taking a taxi to the hotel. There is a City tour bus stop 5 meters outside the hotel. For 10$ a day, you can go to all the major attractions in the city. The front desk can ask for an Internet card according to the number of people (1 card for 1 hour per person), or you can get the right to use wifi for a longer period of time (12 hours each time). Very useful when Cuba is disconnected. There are always a bunch of taxis waiting outside the hotel, so don't be afraid that you won't be able to get a taxi. When you go to the airport, you can ask the front desk to communicate with the taxi driver to prevent the driver from asking for prices. It usually costs 25-30 USD to go to the airport.
