We were two motorcyclists returning to the UK from Dubrovnik. We were very impressed with the value for money, cleanliness and food. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast and the team, led by Voyter were superb. We were also delighted to meet Gunter, the 72 year old who had just walked 4000 kilometres to France. Great job guys and good luck.

Excellent place to base your tour of the Grossglockner road and the national park. Very friendly staff, decent accommodations, good breakfast and dinner. Location is central to road and enables you to reach all the places to visit while on the tool road.

Alpines Hotel in exponierter Lage, die unglaublich ist. Hier passt einfach alles. Es ist das Gefühl erwacht, auch im Winter hier einige Tage zu verbringen. Das würde die Sommereindrücke wahrscheinlich noch toppen. Die Winteranreise ist schon was Besonderes - das Skigebiet ist ohnedies Topliga.

Wir haben über Silvester eine Woche mit zwei Kindern unseren Urlaub in Wallackhaus verbracht. Wir waren sehr angenehm von der winterlichen Natur der Berge überrascht. Es waren erholsame Tage für uns. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Manager des Hauses Adam war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Problem des Hauses ist unfreundliches und faules housekeeping (die Gemeinschaftsräume werden nicht so sauber gehalten) und zu wenig Personal. Der Manager muss als Bedienung beim Abendessenservieren aushelfen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit dort zum Mittagessen was zu bestellen. Das heißt, wenn man mit den Kindern reist, und keine Ski fährt, ist man dort ohne Skikarte einfach gefangen und bekommt nur Frühstück und Abendessen. Das zusammen ist zwei Punkteabzug von uns.
