"Excellent hotel with friendly staff, an ideal stop between Santander and Almeria province. Room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. With the added feature that you had Netflix and Prime video on the room tv. Means you do not have to watch the Spanish version of the Chase 😊 I knocked a star of the rating as we arrived around 3 hoping to get a snack before our evening dinner. We were told they were not serving food until 8pm 🤦‍♂️ After a long wait, the food was very good with a large portion."

"The staff are all lovely, it's super clean, we paid for breakfast for the first time and it was very complete, with plenty of options and it's always a great choice for a B&B. We've stayed in several and for me, this is definitely the best one so far."

Hotel Restaurante Emilio ★★★
"Overnight stop as it was a halfway house on our journey to Denia. The outside appearance of the premises was a bit of a surprise as seen from the main road, it was only when you went round the back to the official entrance that things started to smarten up Lovely comfortable room with an extremely large private roof terrace. The restaurant for dinner was fine. The menu was typical Spanish and not very exciting. To be safe I ordered Turbot but what I was presented with looked and tasted more like Lenguardo. Nothing was said but at least they did not charge me the turbot price. My wife went for the Secreto Iberico main which proved a bit of a bone and fat challenge, to say the least. Two Flan de Huevo for dessert all topped with 3 Mahou sin alcohol beers Total dinner bill came to 41€ not bad. It satisfied the hunger pangs anyway. "

"We were given a room that had been under renovation and was left uncleaned, covered in dust, and with dirty towels in the closet. Good location next to a shopping center"

"The tagline for the hotel 'We're all mad here' should instead be applied to the unsuspecting guests for being mad enough to stay here. I don't think I have ever set foot in a hotel that is more unwelcoming, cold, appallingly decorated and uncomfortable. While I understand that views are subjective, I would struggle to find someone who genuinely found this hotel a warm and welcoming experience. The long, unappealing, badly-lit corridors brought to mind scenes from 'The Shining'. The harsh lighting in all public areas and the bedroom we had added to the unwelcoming vibe and contributed to the headache brought on by lack of food. The restaurant, we discovered on arrival, was only open for breakfast and lunch and while there was a bar menu available, the idea of sitting in yet more bright lights and next to the outside door in a cavernous lobby had us hunting for a taxi to escape. This is necessary as the hotel is in an industrial estate 10mins drive from town. Our bedroom had a delightful view of Decathlon. After a reasonable night's sleep we trudged back through the flickering lights in the sludge green corridors to seek out breakfast. Disappointed is not a strong enough word. Unwelcoming dining room, very limited choice of food. Oily, badly cooked eggs, sugary yoghurts and fruit that had seen better days and I wouldn't want to be gluten free (see attached photo). The staff were generally pleasant, the room was clean and there is underground parking. That's all I have to say about that."

"I liked the hotel's location in front of the park, and I enjoyed the quiet, spacious room and comfortable bed, allowing me to get a good rest for the day. There are no special tourist attractions nearby, but it is a good hotel for a one-night stay."
