Cbh Stoke by Nayland Hotel Golf and Spa

Great quality hotel, lodges and spa. We stayed in the lodges and they were amazing. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. A shout out to our therapist Kelly who really looked after us. We will definitely be returning here. Loved it!! Esoecially the mud treatment and pool area.

My Dad and I came for a two day stay and play. We had a FANTASTIC time. The hotel was beautiful and the room was large, well equipped and clean. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were polite and very helpful. The pro shop staff were equally as great. The courses were long and could be hilly, a buggy is a must but they were very well kept and beautiful. The evening meals were great quality. The restaurant had a great view of the 18th and the sports bar was a great way to relax after a game or in the evening. The place was very social should you wish it to be or there were seating areas elsewhere for more of a quiet evening. Parking was quite busy in the car park and you did have to search for a space. However, this was the only negative from the entire trip. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

We booked a 3 day birthday event at the Apple Tree Lodges. After a few teething issues with hotel due to initial misinformation the hotel and events team went over and beyond to ensure that we had a fab time. A big thankyou to Victoria and her manager for all the support . Thank you also goes to Jasmine and her manager and the team at the lodges. My guests were impressed with the lodges , the peace and calm, cleanliness and overall environment. Although the function room was dry hire the hotel provided us with table clothes and ice buckets and plenty of ice. We had a good time and we will surely be back at the lodges for a peaceful time out. We would also like to say a thank you to the hotels golfers who gave the ladies a fun time by showing them a few of the ropes in playing golf. Apple Tree lodges are a hidden gem and I am so glad we were told about them. You will honestly fall in love when you see them! I will come back to add some pictures when they are out.

Two of us stayed here en route to Norfolk. We weren’t hungry enough to eat in the restaurant, so went to the Sports Bar. Sadly we couldn’t talk for the first half hour due to a very noisy group of golfers. I enjoyed a Salmon Caesar Salad and my partner had a burger. Our room was nice.

There were really good parts to the 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf. The courses were nice and faired well considering the weather we have had this winter. We arrived and played the bank holiday on Monday. It was a shame that the green staff had not been on the course since Friday. Greens and tees needed cutting. Both courses have a great finishing hole. Pro's shop is really well stocked and all staff were very helpful.Rooms were very good, but be careful not to fall when walking on the marble floor in the bathroom! Breakfast was good, but the evening meal fell well below expectations. The chicken I had on the 1st night was dry. The pork chop on the second night was dry and tough. Toilets next to the golfers bar stank. We enjoyed ourselves but not as good as other places we have stayed.

Excellent two night stay with three rounds of golf. Hotel was excellent. Comfortable room with huge bed, good main bar and sports bar, very good restaurant with beautifully prepared food (breakfast and evening). Staff were friendly and attentive. Golf courses were recovering from post Spring maintenance, but were both interesting and challenging, with an array of wildlife on show. Overall, recommended. Will be returning next year.

Visited yesterday. Jasmin, on reception, is absolutely brilliant. Called last week to confirm, she asked if we were celebrating anything, I said yes a 21st a d a 50th. I thought she was being polite, however at dinner we were both given a lovely dessert with Happy Birthday in chocolate. She had obviously made a note on the call. She's a credit to your hotel, and you need to keep hold of her!!

Whilst the guys played golf we went off to the Spa. Was greeted by Kelly who looked after us so well and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She is a credit to your organisation. This is the second golf and spa visit and looking forward to our next visit. The rooms were comfortable and the food was lovely. A great stay.

Hotel side of things ok, though poor WiFi in rooms. Bar just very over priced £13 plus for glass of New Zealand SB ,£38 Bottle, Italian larger plus £8 pint and so many supplements on meals. Breakfast could be great if the eggs were refreshed and the bacon wasn’t covered in white scum. Pleasant staff, clean, good service so a lot is right.
