The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Staying in a cabin with snow-covered views was simply amazing! P.S. Not all cabins offer direct lake views; some may face four different directions. So beautiful! It blows Hallstatt and Baden-Ischl out of the water."

"Truly lovely hotel set in a former Abbey. Beautifully restored, we had a large 2 bedroom suite, food was really good, all staff friendly. They have the use of ski busses to nearest two resorts, we did not use, as driving suited our timings better. Spa area was really nice but busy in the evenings. Good kids area with Table Tennis, Air Hockey and Pool tables."

"The hotel's environment completely exceeded my expectations. The surroundings were as tranquil and beautiful as a fairyland. I've already recommended it to friends for their vacations. The breakfast was also excellent, plentiful, and delicious. It's suitable for a relaxing stay of three days or more; my two-night stay was too short! Personally, I think it's even more suitable for a relaxing vacation than Hallstatt. There are far fewer people, and the tranquil lake view is perfect. It's my favorite hotel during this European trip, and it's my top choice for all my travels over the years!"

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Dining ambience was fantastic in the castle's great hall. Our room, in one of the castle's round towers was large, had many windows to spectacular views of the countryside and town below and mountains beyond. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. The hot water was hot when it came through after about 10mins. Wonderful that we could stay in a castle with such amazing mountain views. Would definitely recommend! "
