The Historic Hogsback Inn ★★★

"I love this Inn, really friendly management and staff with fires burning in all the gathering areas to add that moutain inn ambience and to stave off the ‘8 months of winter and the remaining 4 months of extreme winter’ as equally lamented at and boasted of by the locals😜. I Loved the breakfasts and suppers. A charming and historic place to stay in a most magical destination. One of my favourites ❤️😎 the River-side suites particularly charming as these have their own fireplaces👍🏼"

Madeira Bed ★★★

"We were able to book a room for the same night. On arrival, we were met by the host, the service was friendly and professional. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The kitchenette area was well stocked. The parking area was secure."

Katberg Mountain Resort & Hotel ★★★

"Situated on the Katburg Eco Golf Estate the area is absolutely stunning! The staff were very friendly and helpful, even the general population of the area around Katburg are super friendly. We stayed in a self-catering bungalow but ate at the hotel where the food was very nice and reasonably priced. The hotel and bungalow are a bit rundown and in need of maintenance, which is in progress. But besides this; a stay at the Katburg Mountain Resort & Spa is highly recommend."
