Nothing fancy but very nice to stay on the island, just a vouple minutes walk to the bike rental place, and the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent.

Clean pleasant rooms without being overly polished like a big chain hotel. It still had a cozy local feel we enjoyed very much. We were allowed to check in a bit early and they kept our luggage after checkout for the day while we explored the area.

Ich bin jedes Jahr auf Ameland und dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal in einem Hotel. Es war wirklich ein super Aufenthalt! Das Personal mega nett und freundlich. Alles sehr sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet war jeden Morgen etwas anders und sehr lecker. Auch eine spontane Verlängerung des Aufenthalts ein paar Tage vorher war problemlos möglich. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert. Bad mit Dusche und WC vorhanden und alles sauber. Was leider etwas schade war und deswegen leider nicht volle Punkte, die Zimmertüren fielen immer sehr laut zu! :( Man bekam jedesmal mit wenn der Zimmernachbar ging oder wieder kam. Und das leider auch spät in der Nacht so das man echt kerzengrade im Bett saß. Ansonsten aber sehr gerne jederzeit wieder! ;)

De Klok is een ouderwets degelijk restaurant. De schnitzel was in orde, al had de korst knapperiger gemogen. Met het dieet van mijn vrouw werd in zoverre rekening gehouden dat er geen enkele saus bij haar vis werd geserveerd. Toen mijn vrouw daar iets van zei, was het antwoord dat ze niet op zo korte termijn iets anders konden maken. Dat verbaasde ons wel, want een botersaus is zo gemaakt. Volgende keer graag overleg vooraf en iets meer creativiteit in de keuken zou welkom zijn. Verder zit je er goed en de bediening is vlot.
