Hotel & Hacienda la Caravedo

The hacienda was beautiful, staff was attentive, the grounds peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Was an amazing time with family, we enjoyed the master class for preparing "Chilcano de Pisco" with the Professor Mr. Javier Abregú, who gave us the best tips for a good Chilcano!!, we appreciated his class and dedicated quality time. We also enjoyed the installations and Environment, peacefully and confortable.

Amazing place to stay with clean and beautiful facilities. The staff were always very friendly. the stay included the distillery tour which was very interesting, we learned a lot about the history of making Pisco. and also we had a Chicanos workshop. Javier from the bar was really friendly and knowledgeable. The food from the restaurant was amazing too and one of the restaurants has the view to the caballos de paso show while having lunch. Also for summer days the pool is perfect to relax. Overall highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

The property is beautiful and a great place to relax. We loved all the installations, the bedroom was big and clean. Loved the pisco tour and tasting, as well as the chilcano class. The food was very good. I think it’s worth the price for what you receive. Totally recommended for a relaxing stay. Special thanks to our server, Carlos, who went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we needed and the bartender, Javier, who shared so many stories about pisco and the creation of Peruvian drinks an the service provided was excellent.

The Pisco tour provided in the afternoon was excellent. Jesus, our guide, infused humor and passion into the history of Pisco, making the experience engaging. The tour concluded with a delightful Pisco tasting, adding an extra layer of fun to the journey.

We had a great and very enthusiastic guide through everything PISCO. From ancient techniques to modern means of production were all covered. We got to taste 5 or 6 different types but I think pisco is best in a mixed drink...sours are wonderful. The grounds were stunning. Lunch was excellent but we should have shared an order as so much food. Service was a little slow. We didnot stay at the hotel.

The hotel is lovely but our experience was spoilt by our room allocation right next to the bar, with terrible noise and karaoke at night. On the Friday night we were woken by noisy guests leaving the bar at 11:30, walking right past our room, then standing outside talking loudly. The next night, the karaoke was terrible, very loud in our room, supposedly finishing at 10:00 p.m which is reasonable, except it was set so loud it was audible right across the hotel. Definitely request a room away from the bar area. Other than that, our meals in the dining room were good and reasonably priced. The grounds of the hotel are expansive and interesting. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Pisco tasting experience is well worth doing. The rooms are large but lacking in the extra details, like a bin other than the bin next to the toilet for toilet paper. Railings to hang and dry towels are lacking, despite the sign to look after the environment and to use towels more than a day. The hotel is isolated, a bit out of Ica along a rather rough dirt track.

The Piso tour was excellent, delivered by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who were clearly passionate about their work. The hotel was excellent: great, helpful staff, lovely bar, clean and tidy and spacious rooms. Really nice quiet pool area. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went to hotel Caravedo for the pisco and the views of its beautiful distillery. All of the staff including the security guards were so helpful with our stay. We got a tour of the distillery, a class how to make achillicano, and breakfast was included. We had a delicious dinner and some of the best pisco drinks in Peru here. William help serve us drinks by the pool, and Caesar shared his passion for making drinks. I will be back, it was a nice relaxing end to my long coupe of weeks in Peru. Thank you hotel Caravedo
