"The accommodation itself was good. The breakfast is very simple and has little variety. I ordered 2 meals, the first one came with the chicken parmigiana fillet almost completely raw, the other meal was good. But the big problem is the seal between the rooms, you can hear absolutely everything that is said or done. Finally, I would like to know where I can request my invoice in the name of a legal entity. "The Vela Branca hotel, part of the Andrade chain, offers good value for money, but some important aspects need to be improved. The apartments are cleaned satisfactorily, but the outdoor areas leave something to be desired (see photos attached). The building's security is another aspect that needs to be improved, because many homeless people hang out around the hotel, but there is no security professional in the vicinity or at the reception, which makes guests feel insecure and afraid."

The bed is super but the bed layer always slips off because it is only loose on it. The beach is right in front of it. That's super! The pool is very small and is negligible. Breakfast is very good and versatile. Nice staff! The hotel is not sensitive to noise. i."

"I went with my daughter, as soon as I arrived, who was receiving was a boy, I didn't like him, treated us in a cruel and cold manner, and the image was terrible, and the sound could be worse. I had only a small cover for both of us, we had to wear our bed clothes to cover ourselves. The breakfast was bad, coffee with coffee taste, super dry cake, even to drink water the taste was bad, poor in fruit, until the mama was bitter. Unfortunately, I don't recommend that hotel for many who are looking for it, my experience was horrible."

"For the low price of the hotel, and given the great location for exploring historical Recife, this hotel is not bad. It's old, and it looks like maintenance is not a priority. Really the only thing I didn't like was the bed was saggy. Breakfast was OK."

"The hotel is well located in the neighborhood and has paid parking. The breakfast is adequate for some, but the cleaning is lacking. It is only cleaned as far as the eye can see. Behind the beds you can see the real thing, including trash and remains from previous guests. Another addendum is the comfort of the room. If you plan on staying in the room part of the time during your trip, forget it. The TV only has 2 channels, no subtitles for the hearing impaired, and it is not a smart TV, which must be out of this world for this hotel."

O Mar Hotel faz jus ao preço que cobra. Sem dúvidas é uma das melhores acomodações que você vai encontrar no Recife. Acredito que também tenha o melhor café da manhã e os melhores serviços. Para quem está chegando ou saindo do aeroporto, ele também é bem rápido de chegar e sair. O único ponto negativo que vejo foi an internet, que poderia ser um pouco mais rápida e com melhor sinal.

Well located hotel with excellent breakfast and very good service, especially the person who makes the omelets, very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in Bras and one of the elevators was not working and there was a wait. I recommend the hotel for the attention and hospitality.

A pleasant and wide room, a clean bathroom, towels are exchanged every day. Unfortunately breakfast left unwanted, little option. The collaborators are very careful.

When I was doing a taxi, the driver said that this hotel is the best hotel in this area. Although I don't believe it, it is really good. The room is large and the floor-to-ceiling windows are open, but the hotel is a bit stuck and may not see the panoramic sunrise.

The room hygiene is the best I have traveled to Brazil so far, the dinner is very good, the price is reasonable, and the music is very pleasant. When I finally left the hotel, the hotel said that the airport was free, but the driver had to give me money. I didn't have change at the time and didn't give it. He was very unhappy. I hope to talk to the taxi company in the future to avoid misunderstanding.

The hotel is a very old but comfortable and excellent location. Two negative points The bathroom waste is swinging, it must be opened by the hand, or it is without a cap or on the pedal, I soon took the cap not by the hand. The guests smoke at the hotel's entrance door, bothering others and no officials do anything, nor ask them to move away.

I stayed here for the rest of the night after my 3am flight arrival in REC, almost as close as an airport hotel but much nicer! 24h check-in, very nice breakfast buffet 6-10 am (included in room rate), and a wonderful sea view (sun rise!) were perfect. Room, bathroom were very good value for money.
