Service: Friendly and welcoming. Arriving in Mohe on the Snow Country Train, we checked into a cozy haven, the eLong Hotel, nestled in a wonderland at the far north. As we opened the door, a 270° bay window offered breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy plains and icy mountains. The 1.8-meter wide king-size bed, comfortable sofa, and spacious bay window transformed the -30℃ outdoor chill into a wonderfully warm and familiar indoor sanctuary. This provided a safe and comfortable resting environment for my elderly parents on their first long journey. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, providing extra hangers, bottled water, and tea of the same quality, which gave my family great peace of mind. In the morning, we welcomed the sunrise with stunning alpenglow outside our window. The hotel's varied and delicious breakfast kicked off our invigorating trip to Mohe. We had a delightful interaction with charming deer, and to the rhythm of jingling bells and trotting hooves, we ventured into the natural ice and snow city. Gazing at the winding, extensive border of our nation felt like being in a fairy tale, truly purifying the soul. Thank you to the hotel for providing such a haven – it was more than just accommodation; it was a conduit for transmitting Arctic culture. As the horse-drawn carriage once again traversed the snow-covered forest, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our next icy dawn."

The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone~"

The owners and their family were so warm and hospitable, and the service was thoughtful, with timely and efficient pick-up/drop-off service. They even upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciated. Mohe has many great attractions, and Juguang Hotel is definitely a big highlight among them! Highly recommend! Five-star rating!"

My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. "This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my ten-day trip to Northeast China! Mohe was my last night on the trip, and I had been quite disappointed by previous hotels, so staying here really cheered me up. The owner was super nice, even helped with my luggage, and clearly pays great attention to details and creating a good atmosphere. The room had an instant hot water dispenser with adjustable temperature, a humidifier, and a truly beautiful view. Besides regular towels, disposable ones were also provided. Mohe was right outside the window. The price was also much better than other guesthouses I'd seen, even those with potentially nicer decor. And the toiletries were L'Occitane – that was a pleasant surprise I definitely didn't expect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mohe in winter."

The location is convenient and there are a lot of food next to it (personal taste recommendation (Qiqihar meat shop family barbecue, delicious to make an appointment). "This hotel is run by a lovely couple. The uncle and auntie who own it are incredibly warm and welcoming, even giving us a plate of frozen pear slices, haha! It truly felt like home. They helped us plan our routes, booked taxis for us, and even thoughtfully gave us disposable slippers when we left. Their care was exceptional. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit. It really does feel like home, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends. It's truly excellent, hehe!"
