"We stayed as a family of three, including an elementary school-aged child.
We paid the child's rate, but there were no amenities for the children and they had to sleep in the same bed as us, which was quite difficult with an older child. We didn't need amenities for everyone, but I would have liked at least towels for everyone.
The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, luxurious, and comfortable."

"A sparkling new hotel with onsen and free flow welcome drinks (beer is limited to 1 per pax) but was still great. We stayed as a group of cyclist after completing the Shimanami kaido and the hotel was a great addition to end the ride. The onsen was heaven. The hotel is within minutes from the Station and bus stop, so definitely a plus. Eateries was just across the road with many options. Breakfast was simple but you can't beat it for the price."

"Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station.
It is my second time there ."

"Although the location of the blunt river hot spring is slightly remote, the hot spring water quality is very good, moisturizing and tired, and it is very comfortable to soak.
The boss and the proprietress of Meiheden and other service staff are kind and welcoming, the hospitality is thoughtful, and it is very heartwarming. The dinner is rich and the chef is attentive. It is a very authentic hot spring cuisine and we have a great time.
The room also has a massage chair to eliminate the fatigue of travelers. I personally think that this old Japanese-style hot spring hotel is a good hotel worth recommending."

"It is a long established inn, and it is like a hot spring inn. It was full of Showa retro feeling, such as the cluttered corridors, wooden stairs railings, and tiled wash basins, but it was OK at all because it was a cheap night stay.
The bath is also shared １ Every time two people enter, they lock it. The building is old, but the toilet was a washlet, and the hair dryer and pot in the room were new and clean. The walls are thin, but the guests around me seemed to be sensible, and I was able to spend quiet and comfortable at night. Imabari hand towels are also a nice service. Since it was an online reservation, I asked if I could issue a receipt, but I kindly asked him to issue it. The location is close to Imabari Port, but I walked about 10 minutes from Imabari Station in the shopping street."

"I thought this place was remote and difficult to reach by public transportation. For this reason, I took a small amount of money to take a taxi in and out, and I wanted to give a bad evaluation.
But the moment you see the hotel facilities and scenery, everything is no longer important. When the weather is good, the room and restaurant can see the super super beautiful scenery! The sunset and morning light are so beautiful.
The meal is superb, you must choose one night, two or three meals, each meal is eaten, and the taste is very good.
The room is large and the layout is very good.
The only regret is that there is no natural hot spring, otherwise you can really choose to live here for three days."

"The hotel is very new and clean inside.
It’s conveniently located near AEON, and the parking area is spacious.
There are many restaurants around and two large supermarkets nearby.
I stayed here for three nights during my business trip in the area.
The front desk staff were friendly, but I wish they had given clearer instructions about the elevator, laundry, breakfast, and public bath.
If you come to Imabari for business or sightseeing, this hotel is definitely worth staying at."

GGuest UserThis graceful ryokan has been running a business for 150 years located in a sedated little town. Maybe it’s off season. I felt I was in the middle of nowhere worrying what to do with my time there. However Izumi San the host has been helping me above and beyond trying to make me feel welcome. She escorted me to and from the onsen each night punctually. She got all the information for me to rent a bicycle and get me the bus time table ready for me to travel to Hiroshima. Btw the bike ride was amazing and is a must do for islands hopping. Although we communicated mostly through Google translate and some of my broken Japanese. We have had some good laugh. Chaume did offer me couple of restful nights. To Izumi San, arigato gozaimasu. 💝

GGuest UserThis is a very good hotel. I didn't stay at the hotel last time when it was fully booked. This time I made a reservation in advance and my husband and son enjoyed our stay. We rode along Shimanami Kaido from Imabari. Due to the hot weather, we started late and arrived at the hotel 2 hours later than scheduled. However, the hotel service staff kept in touch with us frequently after receiving our emails and reminded us of things to pay attention to on night bus routes. Upon arrival, the service staff gave a very warm welcome. The next day was still too hot, so we were sent to Tatara Ohashi Park.
This is a very reassuring hotel that feels like home.
We stayed in the cafe the next day, looking out the window at the sea, sailboats, sunshine, and listening to bossa nova music, everything slowed down.
Thank you for giving us a safe and warm journey.

The parking lot is free and large, so it's okay to be late 🅿️ There is Yoshinoya next door, and there is Kura sushi opposite, so it doesn't seem to be troublesome for food! If you drive a little, there are supermarkets and convenience stores 🏪
The room is spacious and comfortable 々. The large communal bath was very large and beautiful, probably because it was renewed. There were no amenities, so bring lotion, emulsion, and toothbrush.
The lounge offers alcohol and snacks at night and breakfast in the morning.
Breakfast is also very delicious and satisfying.

Guesthouse Tonari can be highly recommended. It’s very clean, the facilities are modern, the beds are confortable and the host very serviceminded and speaks well English.
The guesthouse is located a little off the mall biking track, however it’s easy to reach with a small detour. If you are exploring the Omishima Island its very convenient.
Please do note that this is a guesthouse and not a hotel hotel, so the review is based on this. There is a small kitchen with what you need for preparing food. There is also a fridge so easy to bring food. Please note that there are not so many restaurants and shops in the vicinity, however the host can provide information. Best to bring some snacks and drinks.
There are space for parking bikes.

The bathroom and toilet are shared, but the hygiene is no problem, very clean, there is a shared kitchen, there is a microwave oven to heat the lunch, and it is similar to at home. This time it was the cycling island Bohai Road, the hotel in the middle, the hotel was on the shrine of a shrine, and the hotel's integrated dining bar solved the breakfast and lunch problem very well.

多々羅大橋のたもとにある大三島BSからは島の反対側ですが、バスで移動しました。バス停からはすぐです。
近くにマーレ・グラッシア大三島さんがあって温泉に入れるし、大三島ブリューワリーさんはすぐ近くなのが気に入っています。
大山祇神社も徒歩で行けて、朝の静かで凛とした空気の中でお参り出来ました。
ランドリーやキッチンもあるので、長期滞在やサイクリングの宿に最適だと思います。
オーナーご夫妻も気さくで、また大三島に行く時には利用したいです。
