Onomichi Hotels with Wifi

"The servicev of this hotel is unspeakable. I was there with a friend for the Shimanami Kaido, but Got a nerve trapped and had to rest. I booked a single Room for a night but later decided I needed 2 nights for recovery. I had to change Room from a double to a single Room - and the reception made it clear to me that I had booked for 3 nights 1 + 2 nights - not alterer the original booking from 1 to 2 nights. I made it clear i Only needed 2 nights as my friend returned. The hotel Said itcwould be ok - but when I looked at my bank account 3 nights were charged. When I mentioned that to the reception they Said they did not do a refund - but I would rater have used my Room for a pieceful night of sleep and so would my friend than being ripped of by a greedy hotel."

"Checking into the hotel was a breeze. The hotel is very comfortable and a 2 minute walk from Onimichi Station. The bathroom is slightly smaller than usual, but being a solo traveler it was fine for me. Small window allows for a view of water, and for fresh air instead of A/C air. Long sleep wear is provided as well."

"The hotel is directly opposite the JR station, accessible via a pedestrian overpass. A ferry terminal is right downstairs. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it a very convenient location in town. The staff can communicate in English, and daily housekeeping is provided. They also deliver water, biscuits, and jelly every day. There's a free massage chair available on every floor's elevator lobby. Guests get a discount at the second-floor restaurant, which is quite a good deal. The cleanliness is generally acceptable, but some details are lacking, like a layer of dust on the humidifier."

"Extremely convenient, close to the train station and convenience stores. The environment is quiet and very clean, and the price is right. They also offer free coffee and water. Highly recommend staying here when you visit Onomichi."

"I'd seen Cyclist in a magazine years ago, and my trip to Hiroshima made it a must-see. Arriving in Onomichi, I discovered that U2, the most iconic building in the area, is a complex of hotels, restaurants, shops, and a cycling club. Even with its industrial style, the details are impeccable. The room layout was very practical, the bathroom had a bathtub and was spacious, and all the toiletries were from Osaji, with a very soothing lavender scent. The only drawback was the lack of body lotion. Given Osaji's high-quality amenities, and considering Japan's dry climate, body lotion is essential in a space without a humidifier. The hotel offers bicycle rental by reservation, but if you don't have a reservation, you can rent from the adjacent Giant shop, which has a wide selection of models. The hotel has a cafe and bakery right next to each other, so you can buy bread and then grab a coffee. The harbor view is amazing, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great due to the rainy season."

"We stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you! The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇‍♀️"

"The location right in front of the ocean was fantastic, and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was comfortable, and the staff who assisted us at breakfast were very polite and helpful. The food was also delicious, made with local ingredients."

"It is very close to Qianguang Temple, and it takes a little time to walk from jr station. The hot spring is relatively simple, just a soup. There is a sink in the room, no toilet, the toilet is in the corridor, a little inconvenient. Overall it's pretty good."

"The room is very nice, clean, has a bathtub, and has newer facilities. It is located in the city center and has a JR pass. You can take the orengejr sightseeing bus directly to the JR station. The breakfast restaurant is particularly good"

"The women-only dormitory room I stayed in was incredibly hot. 💦 So hot that it woke me up at night. I usually expect there to be few amenities, so it wasn't a problem, but I was really happy that they provided individual bath mats. It was very hygienic and nice, so next time I'd like to stay in a different room, like a private room."
