"The hotel location is excellent with walking distance to Robinsons mall and the SM mall. Though the facilities are relativelv basic but beds are comfy, breakfast is not bad. The only thing I'll fault with is the room is lacking a table for proper work and somehow a little small, but for business travel, it is good enough"

World-class service. Calm, efficient, and professional. The kind of interaction that sets the tone for the entire stay. The location made everything easy. Being right near The Podium and Megamall meant we could step out for shopping or a good meal without planning too much. For a family trip, that convenience matters. Our room was spacious. Enough room for the three of us to move comfortably without feeling cramped. The kitchen was fully equipped for simple meals. We did not end up cooking, but knowing we could added flexibility to the stay. Small details were done right. The hot and cold controls for the shower, bathtub, and sink worked perfectly. No guessing. No sudden temperature shifts. Just consistent comfort. Breakfast was another highlight. Plenty of meat options, which I appreciated. A solid spread that felt satisfying and complete. Overall, it was a relaxed, well-run stay that worked perfectly for a family trip. Polite service, strong attention to detail, and a location that makes everything convenient. Exactly what you want when traveling with the people who matter most."

"Had a great stay at Red Planet Ortigas. The location is very convenient, especially if you need access to malls, restaurants, and transport around Ortigas. "Richmonde Hotel Ortigas is a well-aged hotel that has clearly stood the test of time. I originally booked a Standard Room via Trip.com and decided to pay extra to upgrade to a Junior Suite upon arrival. It was absolutely worth it. One of the experienced staff recommended a room with an excellent view, and the scenery did not disappoint. The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest. The pillows, however, are on the softer side; I personally stacked three pillows to achieve better neck support. The air-conditioning is very powerful—almost freezing at times. I wasn’t entirely sure how to adjust it, and it seems to be set in Fahrenheit, but it works extremely well for those who enjoy a cold room. All the room lighting works as intended. The lights are on the warm, dim (orange) side, which seems intentionally designed to match the hotel’s classic and cozy ambience. It gives the room a calm, relaxing feel, especially at night. One small suggestion would be to provide additional plastic trash bags in the room and bathroom. I use food delivery services quite frequently during my stay and prefer to clear waste daily for cleanliness. The Junior Suite comes with a larger Smart TV, which was a pleasant surprise. You can easily log in to your own Netflix account—watching shows in bed felt like having a mini private cinema in the room. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The gym is a big plus—open from 6am to 9pm and almost always empty. It honestly felt like I had the entire gym to myself, which made workouts very pleasant. The swimming pool is currently closed for renovation, which is understandable. While the room is generally clean and comfortable, it could benefit from renovation and deeper cleaning. The wooden doors, curtains, desks, and drawers are showing their age and would greatly improve the overall experience if refreshed. That said, for a hotel that is over 25 years old, it has aged remarkably well. The location is excellent—one of the best aspects of this hotel. There are plenty of food and convenience options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Pancake House, and more. SM Megamall is just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and commuting extremely convenient. Most importantly, the service from the staff is outstanding. There are warm greetings everywhere you go, and the staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall stay and makes guests feel welcomed. I will be trying their breakfast buffet soon and will update my review afterward to share whether it exceeds expectations. Overall, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas offers great value, comfort, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly recommend it to travelers who appreciate classic charm paired with genuine Filipino hospitality."

"Nice view of the Ortigas skyline, good working hot and cold shower. Could use a mini fridge though good that they offer free water. Gym has sufficient equipment for basic workout but one machine is broken. Overall great experience. Good for families who want to take a break from the heat of the city by going to the pool. Good for solo travelers/business travelers who are in a budget."

"MUR requests need to be made with the fromt desk. Extra towels and/or dental kits (outside of declared number of guests) incur additional charges - the front desk tried to charge me outright without even asking fo context regarding my request (there were no dental kits in our room hasn’t even been made up yet.) Housekeeping is not 24/7. Verify their policies and clarify your expectations upon check in. The bathroom in our unit wasn’t draining water properly outside of the shower area so there was always a puddle of water in front of the toilet and sink area. The spaces are from serviced apartment models which feature very outdated interiors and fit-out (the TVs aren’t even smart TVs yet, but you can cook in the units wherein an electric stove and a microwave, plus a couple of pots, pans, and plates are provided). The fridge is full-sized. The breakfast buffet is very basic, but the dining staff members were very accommodating and truly do the best job they can with what’s provided. Good location because it is in the center of Ortigas CBD. If you are just looking for a decent place to rest your head after a day out in the area, this property offers good value for the money. Good for groups for as long as you avail the appropriate room type. The spaces come from a time wherein floor plans for condos were not stingy on space. If you expect top-notch service, there are better options elsewhere."

"had a good stay overall! the room and all amenities were clean, love that the gym is 24/7 too! service was great too where every staff member was observant, welcoming and polite, really appreciated that the housekeeping staff noticed i had asked for extra bottles of water beforehand and gave me extra without me having to request! visited for business so cannot comment on whether the location is good for leisure travels, but the nearest malls were about a 10min walk away. overall would definitely return."
