"I'm shocked at how secluded and beautiful this place is. 🥹🥰 There are so many locals around, the most delicious somtam I've ever eaten (and I don't eat somtam), the most tender fish, and a lovely breakfast. At reception, we were told it was until 10:30, and we arrived for breakfast at 10:10, but it turned out it was until 10:00. The girls in the dining room thoughtfully let us eat anyway. Thank you! The beach is shallow and sandy—great for kids. The house itself is spacious, bright, and equipped with everything you need."

"The room was reasonably clean. The bed sheets were white, but I didn't really like the blanket. The air conditioning was cold, there was a hairdryer, soap and shampoo were provided, and the water pressure was strong. It's located in a local area, making it easy to find food. The only downside is that it's quite noisy and can disturb sleep."

"I enjoyed my stay very much and the hotel manager (owner?) and staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. My room was perfect with huge walk in shower and the bed was very comfortable. I really loved the swimming pool and well maintained grounds. A great choice of foods for breakfast and the coffee was the best I've every had in Thailand !!! I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family."

"Despite the elegant name, this hotel feels outdated and fairly basic. It’s adequate for a short stay of one or two nights, but not much more. One of the main frustrations was the misleading listing on Trip.com. I paid extra for a king-sized bed and a mountain view, only to discover the hotel only offers queen-sized beds and our “view” was of a car park. For the second night, we paid significantly less and moved to a room on the fifth floor, which did offer a better view. Interestingly, the room itself was identical to the first—same size and layout—just without the car park outside the window. Rooms are small but clean, with a painted mural on the wall that adds a bit of character. However, the towels were very worn and rough, more suitable as bathmats than for drying off. There’s no kettle in the room, but you can find hot water and complimentary tea and coffee on the ground floor, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi works well, although the router on the fifth floor needs to be reset daily for it to function properly. In summary, this hotel delivers on some basic comforts, but it falls short in terms of accuracy and amenities. It’s best suited for very short stays if your expectations are modest."

GGuest UserBeen in this hotel for the second time and definitely would recommend staying in it while skipping the night between flight and ferry. Location right in the city center near night market street, however away from the hustle and bustle of this street. Neat hotel with friendly staff. You can easily organize the transfer to the airport with their help. Morning kitchen zone supplied with coffee machine and microwave was very useful for us. No problems with water, hot water or noises from the street or neighbouring rooms. Definitely a good place to stay!

RresbausStayed 3 nights in Suriwong Chumphon Hotel. Good size room with fan and private bathroom. Location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Couple of really good vegan/vegetarian restaurants nearby. Free water refill and morning coffee was a BIG plus. Wifi didn't work in the room. We stayed in 5th floor room 506. Worked only outside the room near elevator. Can recommend and we would stay again!

There's plenty of parking space, so I never had to worry about finding a spot. The room was comfortable. The fast Wi-Fi was a big plus, allowing me to stay connected without any interruptions. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will be visiting again.

DDanny CW NgSpacious big room with laminated wood floor. The only thing it doesn't have is a safety box. There is a electric kettle to boil water. You can even take a bath. Not many hotels in this grade has a bathtub. Room is very big but the 30 inch TV looks tiny sitting in the big room. The breakfast is simple buffet style and is good. There is toast with jam, Instant coffee and tea, Eggs sunny side up and sausages. Salads, Thai food stir fry and steam rice and fruits and croissants. This is a great place for an overnight stay enroute to Bangkok or HatYai. I will come back.

There were amenities and coffee served in the room. You can order dinner at the hotel. The food is delicious and not expensive. Breakfast is served like other hotels. GGuest UserPon and Fy on reception couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately and understandably even translation sites couldn't help get the message across on occasion. As I read on another review, there is noise from a very nearby club and the bathroom is unfinished. The fridge goes off when key removed so a spare fob was kindly supplied to stop the milk going off. No m/bike available so only taxis/bhtbus. Having said all that nothing spoilt our personal experience of this place and the staff were excellent

Train station and the night market is only 5-6 mins away by car and you can also book a Grab / Bolt Taxi to go anywhere from the hotel. Staff were all sweet and helpful. The lady at the breakfast was very kind and hardworking. If we visit Chumphon town again, we will definitely stay here!

The owner was really friendly and helped us out with any questions or advice we needed. The room was perfect - spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice - rice soup, bananas, sweet rice packets, fried eggs, coffee, tea…. More than adequate. We decided to stay an extra night here as it was so relaxing and peaceful. Would recommend.
