"As someone who's been to Hawaii three times, I highly recommend this hotel. First off, the room rates are significantly lower than those in Waikiki, yet the room size and views absolutely blow away similarly priced or even more expensive options in Waikiki. Secondly, parking is cheap; there's metered parking right downstairs at $1 an hour, costing a maximum of about ten dollars a day, which is a steal compared to hotels that charge $40-$50 a day. It's perfect for those who are driving. Lastly, the sushi on the first floor is delicious, and most importantly, affordable."

"Aside from being expensive, it's perfect! My kids went downstairs every day to take photos with the Disney characters and they were absolutely thrilled. Facilities: The room description said there was a kitchen, but our room type only had a microwave, fridge, and disposable cutlery. You need to book a higher-category room for an oven, pots, and a stovetop."

"Hampton Inn is one of the best hotels to chose in Kapolei, Hawaii! Their beds are cozy and they provide free coffee and breakfast. Not only that, but their right next to the Kamakana Mall. It's a good location with restaurants that serve delicious food, a gym, pet smart, hot topic, and other stores to go on a shopping spree in!❤️❤️❤️"

"Extremely satisfied! The service was attentive and thorough. Especially this morning when the roads were closed for the marathon, and the driver I booked couldn't get in, two doormen used the hotel shuttle to take me to the intersection and even helped me get across the road. It was truly a lifesaver, so grateful. I will definitely choose HALEKULANI again next time!"

"It was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea. I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems. It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water."

"Hygiene: Excellent. The entire place was very clean and tidy, with no trash or dust, and no unpleasant smells – everywhere smelled fresh. The gym was also clean. The only minor issue was the pool, which could get a bit noisy and messy due to the crowd. Ambiance: Fantastic. The rooms themselves were impeccable, all over 50 square meters, with mostly identical layouts, just differing in their specific location. They had everything you could ask for: a bathtub, shower, two sinks, two wardrobes, a dressing table, and a balcony with a view. A special mention for the bathtub – it filled up incredibly fast, less than five minutes, which is the quickest I've ever seen. The decor was very sophisticated, with high-quality materials that gave it a timeless feel, yet it was maintained beautifully, which was very impressive. Service: Excellent. The doormen were highly efficient at opening car doors and handling luggage. The check-in experience at the front desk was great; the staff's attitude was impeccable, they were very professional, didn't strictly adhere to every rule, and were very generous and welcoming. If a room was available, they arranged immediate check-in. Any requests were handled with high efficiency; for example, beach chairs were brought and set up quickly, and anything needed was brought to the room promptly. They even helped close the curtains, making us feel truly at home. Facilities: Outstanding. The decor is very distinctive and rich in character. It has all the amenities expected of a five-star hotel. As one of Hawaii's top three luxury hotel resorts, it boasts a quiet private beach and a golf course, plus its own dolphin lagoon where you can experience close interaction with dolphins. There are four restaurants, a well-equipped gym with fruit and lemon-coconut water, and well-appointed restrooms. There are also many century-old decorations and various shops, all selling co-branded hotel merchandise, which is quite rare and unique. Overall, this hotel is absolutely worth a special trip. All aspects were flawless. What truly stands out is its century-old heritage and expansive space, yet it shows no signs of age and is meticulously maintained. I personally love this feeling of historical charm. Highly recommended."

"Everything was great except for the low floor allocation – being on the 6th floor near Kuhio Avenue, it was a bit noisy. I've stayed at the Marriott and Hyatt near Waikiki in the past two years, but if your main purpose is to go out and explore, this Waikiki Malia is really good value for money. It's more convenient for dining and shopping, plus the parking garage is integrated with the hotel, which is reassuring. The pool is small, but it's perfect for kids who are just learning to swim, almost like a dedicated children's pool. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the service overall was excellent."

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier, they patiently used translation software to communicate with us. The hotel's location is fantastic – very close to the beach, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right downstairs. Public transport is also super convenient, just a step away. Thumbs up! 👍"
