Casa Bradet

This location came with great reviews in a internet group, so I decided to book it for 3 nights. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. Since it was fully booked at the reservation time, I only managed to get the last apar**ent available. Here comes apar**ent 16, located on the second floor. Because of this, the ceiling to the sleeping area where the bed was located, was rapidly decreasing from normal height to aprox 1.2 meters, thus hitting my head on it on several occasions coming in and out of the bed. But this was not the worst part but the mattress, where springs were popping out of it making sleep an ordeal for 3 full nights. I did complain to the lady in charge about it, but not enough time to replace it. Excuse was that they had a group earlier who messed up the place, including staining the couch (why it wasn’t cleaned or checked before arrival of other guests I don’t know). The bathroom although clean smelled like sewer throughout the day, the windows had no net to it to keep it open during the night for fresh air (no AC is available, and only a net type of curtain hanging on the windows which did not prevent mosquitoes from flying inside). The apar**ent has a terrace which supposedly is only for this apar**ent, but anyone can enter it from the hallway. Also, no net available so we had to sleep with the door closed not to mention the other guests coming outside during the night while we were inside trying to sleep. Apar**ent is quite small, the bed and the couch are only separated by a wood panel so no real partition in there. Breakfast is not included and is paid separately. It doesn’t give any coffee even if it is buffet style, nothing child friendly for food (not just the breakfast but restaurant as well). Same thing every day, last day of our trip we skipped breakfast as we couldn’t take the same thing again. Coffee is paid separately like I said and ir costs 1/3 of the breakfast price and you need to go order it at the bar. The reason I gave 2 stars and not just 1 is the yard, nice and large, with a swimming pool, but not properly maintained. For example, the concrete foundation for the children area were not all completely covered in some type of protective material to prevent injuries in children. Some were, some weren’t, like job was started but not completed. I heard other guests complaining as well to the owner, people saying that food and services are not what they used to be. Maybe the regular rooms are better, but the apar**ent we had was bad and I would not recommend this place.
