Rhodes Bay Hotel & Spa

Got to our room and was in there ten minutes before being called and told we had been given wrong room.Moved 2 rooms along. Room was exactly the same but twin beds. Massive fuss about us having room with coffee machine, said we weren’t bothered if it had a coffee machine or not! The woman in the restaurant, blonde bob, barked at us for taking a seat. Nowhere does it say to wait to be seated!!!! There was also no one at the dining entrance to greet/ advise us so we took a seat .My husband tripped in the dining area on a piece of flooring that was loose, sprained wrist. The chair leg completely went through the loose piece of flooring. (A square price of wood to the outside dining area) On advising the woman who was so abrupt with us she completely dismissed it saying she was aware. The food is average. The waiting are friendly but staff are more concerned with getting your room number multiple times to give you a receipt at meal times than taking drinks orders. We gave up requesting second drinks as they just did not seem to want to take more than one order. Ordering at the bar was painfully slow. Caffe latte was served lukewarm warm. Sunloungers are stained and some furniture broken. Drinks are filled with ice so much that the drinks are watery. We ended up eating out on a few nights as the rigmarole of the dining area was awful! There is an ant infestation at the middle pool area. If you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair don’t expect to be able to access a toilet near the pools. There are none. You need to go to reception area or down some very slippery steps!!!You can only get pool towels at 10 am and cannot exchange during the day if they get too wet etc. This is absolutely NOT a 5star hotel. 3 at best. This is THE MOST NON ALL INCLUSIVE place we have ever stayed at. Be aware before booking!!! Housekeeping were friendly as were the ladies from the spa. We were given a bottle of fizz on one day in our room as it was my husbands birthday, this was a nice touch. We have holidayed in Rhodes twice a year for the last 6 years and this is the only hotel I would advise to avoid.

Room lovely , staff lovely, bed massive and so comfy.. what a view! Food options great. Nice cocktails and the spa massage experience was just so relaxing.. my wife and I were hosted by Maria and Ada. Our only minor downside was that not all sun-beds were of the same standard and comfort.. but in grand scheme of things it’s nothing that would stop us returning.

Stayed for 11 nights could not fault this hotel. The staff at the bars and restaurant are so friendly especially Theo. Such a pretty hotel with great views. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss at first I think it was the start of the season. But after a week it improved greatly although I was sad the lobster night hadn’t started yet. Shout out for the Spa my husband and I had a massage by Maria and Katarina , highly recommend. Would we come back? Most definitely 10/10 .

The best hotel i've ever been to. Verry clean and beautifull Amazing people at the Pool and bars. The food and cocktails were delisious. Thank you Despina, klimis, kostas and philip for the great service. You guys are amazing. See you next year

We arrived at night so couldn’t make much out of resort. Following day went on walk about only to find there is only a long busy road with lots of traffic buzzing up and down all day and night. A long stretch of sand scattered with sun beds. No lovely little tavernas near the sea just bars with big screen televisions showing football all day long. Where has Greece gone ??? Hotel is lovely we had nice room on 8th floor overlooking sea and busy road!!! This will be on our list of not going here again. If you want authentic Greece go somewhere else!!!!

My partner and I had the crêtan message from Maria and Anta it was Fantastic! They were very welcoming at the start and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable through the whole massage and we left feeling really happy. The best massage we’ve ever had! Thank you very much!

I spent a week at Rhodes Bay with my mom and we had a great time. People here are super friendly and helpful, even when they are busy they will still make time to greet you. We had all inclusive and could try the Italian and Greek restaurant which were yummy. Buffet was good as well. Super selection of drinks and cocktails included. Special thanks to Filip, Jorgos, Antonis and the other waiters and the bar tenders for taking such good care of me and my mom. Very convenient is the bus stop that takes you to Rhodes center, the car rental here is also very good, even able to rent a car at short notice.

This is a great hotel, very relaxing, lots of space around numerous pools. My deluxe room was really spacious, great sea views, comfy bed. I had AI Plus, I highly recommend having the three ‘posh’ meals with this package (I think available if you stay 7 nights) the Greek, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants were indeed a treat, with super service and gorgeous food. The staff make this hotel worth staying in, the famous Greek hospitality is always on offer - special mentions to Antonio in the 10th floor restaurant and Marianne at the 11th floor pool bar - both looked after me and I felt like a VIP! Thank you, I will definitely return Janet x

Pros: Great location, breakfast is good, staff are amazing, rooms are a good size, hotel decor is nice, general service is quick, free sauna and steam room, would definitely recommend. Cons: Indoor pool is not heated and quite small and the food was average. The private beach is a few minutes walk and nice but rocky. We also used the spa facilities and had some trea**ents which was a 5/5 experience. My masseuse Maria was amazing - thank you for the experience!!
