The location of the place was excellent With a lot of greenery But Food was extremely oily towels not good And pool dirty So we really didn't think we got our moneys worth at this property Also no hot water Attendant Ganesh was extremely cooperative However the property facility is not worth the charges Don't have too many expectations

It is overpriced overrated non maintained property … neither the locks are working properly nor the water is properly supplied…very limited food options and hot water can be used for hand wash etc because the supply is very limited and the towels they have provided are so cheap and third class that you have to take the shower again to get rid of towels tissue… this is not worth even in the 1/4th of the price …not recommended with family specifically with the kids

We visited trikaya resort over a long weekend. I have rated it a 3, that’s the average of various parameters. It is nestled amid-st beautiful green hills and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The property has quite beautiful landscaping. For just that i could rate it a 5/5 however other aspects leave you wanting for more. Maintenance of the rooms are poor, food was okok and service could be better, it is surely not value for money. The room was nice with beautiful views, but the washroom wasn’t very clean and door wouldn’t close. The balcony in itself was good, but considering it is most used in the rains, the canopy could have been bigger for one to sit out and enjoy the views. The green artificial turf grass laid on the balcony won’t let it dry and the whole room was getting wet because of this. All in all, if the maintenance and service could be improved, this retreat has great potential.

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. We, a family of three stayed at Yahvi cottage in the first week of September 2022 and had truly amazing time enjoying the spectacular views. Booking was hassle free and the owner - Archana Pillai was kind enough to answer all our queries with regards to the property. Very often it’s seen that property pics on social media / website are presented in a glitzy way as compared to reality. However, Trikaya Retreat is exactly how it’s seen in pics……serene, sublime and full of life. The cleanliness was spot on, cottage was well maintained and the food though simple was indeed delicious having distinct aroma and flavours. It was freshly cooked, made as per our taste and served piping hot. Special thanks to Dhondiba for taking care of our stay and chef Ramesh for serving us scrumptious grub and making our stay memorable. Will definitely be visiting this property again to make pleasant memories!

Please don’t go by the pictures on website. The place is damp. Smells really bad because of the dampness. The tub inside the room is full of mosquitoes. The food is served like college canteen, even that food was good but food here sucks big time. The food is served at a common canteen where u have to walk all the way rain or shine. Bad for old people or people with kids. Please don’t plan ur holiday here. It’s run by staff who has no idea what to do.

Property is beautiful, however the food is very poor. Given the cost of the cottages and positioned as a premium niche property the food doesn't do justice at all No varieties and quality of food is not upto the mark. Definitely needs to get that sorted. Also food service should be available in rooms , when you pay an expensive amount for your stay you would like to sit and enjoy a peaceful meal at your comfort in your cottage with that stunning view The canteen area is not sufficient to hold everyone during a packed weekend

Property was good but rs. 15500 charged for a night it is not worth. Since u r charging so much at least u should provide mini fridge and wi fi connection at least for emergency purpose. Rest everything was fine

It was my first experience with trikaya retreat. The place is very remotely located. You need to have your own vehicle to reach the place. Otherwise private auto n cabs will charge a lot to n fro from this place. Since i visited it in the monsoon, there was a lush greenery around. The villa booked had a nice room but there was no hot water. Unfortunately we had to bathe in cold water despite having cold weather outside. The caretaker mr deepak was a nice, warm person. Overall staff is really nice n warm but considering the amount charged for rooms n food, the food was quite okay, not great. It didnt have variety. We checked in by 5 pm and missed our lunch. Like other resorts in the market, i thought the lunch will be carried forward to next day but to my worst surprise, i was told to pay extra for lunch (rs 550 per person for veg meal. It was quite an unprofessional n greedy gesture i felt. We were charged rs 2500 for extra 4 hours extension in lower standard room than what i had booked. They had initially refused to give towels during extension time. But later on one kind guy managed it for us. Overall considering the price charged, food n room quality and the remote location, i feel its overpriced n over-hyped resort. I will not visit it again n wont recommend it to anybody.

The stay was very comfortable. Lunch and dinner was good. Barbecue was perfectly arranged. Service was upto the mark. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Welcome To Trikaya Retreat - Kamshet

Trikaya Retreat- Kamshet is an ideal holiday destination, nestled in the foothills of the Shirota forests, last of the mighty hills amidst the Sahyadri ranges. Built on a hill top at an altitude of 2226ft above sea level, deep in the western ghats overlooking the Kundali Dam, we offer you an abode in the clouds. Trikaya Retreat is a home for the restless and the young at heart to blend with nature, listen to the sounds of the forest, live the nomads life, shoot some DSLR preys before getting back to ones own steel and glass world. Mesmerising misty hills, private waterfalls, possibility of treks in the hills instead of the boring treadmill, have different birds each day as your morning alarm, catch the sunrise from your bed , savor the beauty of the sunset lying on a hammock, lie on your back by the campfire waiting to catch the occasional shooting star across a crystal clear sky - a typical wish list of anyone who is on the lookout for his well earned holiday. In addition, if you have a kitchen with staff who remembers the way you like your egg served on a Sunday morning, sets up your barbeque complete with the marinated goodies, wouldnt you be tempted to change your FB status to Life is Good?
