Jiuzhaigou Lotus Ye Guest House

The location is excellent, just a three or four-minute walk to Jiuzhaigou, and there's even a shortcut path. However, the rooms were a bit noisy. We booked two family rooms; the one closer to the river had the sound of rushing water all night, and the one closer to the mountain had insect noises all night. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider.

Pros: 1. Very close to the scenic area entrance, a 5-minute walk. 2. Generous with bottled water. 3. They responded and dealt with issues promptly when they arose. Perhaps because of its prime location, the hotel doesn't seem to bother with improving its decor, facilities, cleanliness, service, or breakfast. For a family room costing over 900 yuan per night, there were no children's slippers or toiletries. The walls were peeling, the bathroom drain was clogged, and the metal fixtures in the toilet were rusty – I forgot to take photos. I booked it thinking it would be convenient, but if you don't eat at the hotel's own restaurant, you still have to walk about 800 meters to Pengfeng Village. I don't usually leave very low ratings, but this is an honest review for your reference.

This hotel is the closest one to the scenic area entrance. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is good.

The room facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is acceptable. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the gully entrance, making it ideal for a first night's stay. You can stroll around in the evening to get a feel for the area, and then leisurely have breakfast the next morning before walking to the entrance. Parking is also convenient. However, I was intimidated by the heavy traffic on the day of arrival, so I switched to a hotel further from the entrance for the second night. After exploring on the second day, I could pick up my car directly and head to the next hotel, saving me from the hassle of waiting for a car and avoiding the risk of morning traffic on the second day. Additionally, the Sichuan chef at the hotel's Chinese restaurant is excellent; the homestyle dishes have that authentic 'wok hei' flavor. I was very satisfied with dinner on the day I arrived.

The location is superb, just about 200 meters from the Jiuzhaigou entrance. Although it's a bit further from the main restaurant area, it's a perfectly acceptable walking distance. We checked in a day early, and the next morning after breakfast, we had a seamless entry into the park, which is perfect for elderly travelers who want to save energy. The facilities are a bit older, but the underfloor heating works great, which is very friendly for people from the North who are sensitive to cold. The restaurant is a bit small with limited variety, especially hot dishes. However, it's sufficient to fill you up. That morning, the egg fried rice was delicious, and with the special mixed beef, it made for a high-protein, energy-packed breakfast.

The location is fantastic, right at the park entrance. It's only a few minutes' walk from the lobby to the ticket office. After a long day exploring Jiuzhaigou, my legs were shaking, so staying this close to the entrance was incredibly important. The room has underfloor heating, which you need to turn on yourself. Breakfast was simple, but it tasted pretty good.

The room was clean and tidy, but I'm not sure if it was the underfloor heating, as it was too hot at night to sleep. The temperature was a bit high, but everything else was pretty good. It's very close to the attractions, just a few minutes' walk away, making it the best choice if you want to get to them quickly. There are places to eat within a fifteen-minute walk. We could even see the starry sky when we stepped out at 11 PM.

It must have been renovated, as it was much better than I expected. I booked it because it's close to [Goukeng/Goukou - assuming a place name, if not, adjust], and it turned out to be quite comfortable. I'd book it again next time. The breakfast was also acceptable.
