The location is great for access to the centre of Arromanches. The rooms are large and reasonably well appointed. English isn't spoken but with googletranslate we got by. There are a few English speaking TV channels. The problem is the location. Looking on a map it seems to be fine, but it is actually on the main road through Arromanches. Not only that, it is right by a junction on a hill. Motorhomes, motorcycles and cars all accelerate up the hill after turning at the junction. The first night we were there, this continued until 2AM. Also, the cleaner only appears to make the bed - nothing else. Would not recommend for anyone looking for a quiet location - as described on the hotel website.
