A-1 experience! During our 5-week visit, we stayed in the newer Lahaina Villas (1 week), Napili Villas (2 weeks) and the original Lanai Tower (2 weeks). This extended stay allowed for a thorough overview of the resort. The valet, bell desk and front desk staff were over-the-top helpful and friendly, often greeting us by name. We were met with warm "Alohas" and smiles by housekeepers, groundskeepers, pool and food employees...staff at all levels. Many team members had lost their homes, vehicles, all possessions in the tragic Lahaina wildfire, but you would never know it. Bless them for their continued, wonderful spirit and service. The original 1980's hotel (Molokai, Lanai, Maui towers) was converted into spacious new timeshares in the late 1990's - early 2000's. They will soon undergo a major update, including new wood floors, new furnishings, beds, window coverings, rebuilt bathrooms (converting many tub/showers to large walk-in showers), all new plumbing and electrical. Our family appreciates these original towers for their very spacious rooms and the over-sized private lanai/balconies (on the lower floors, the lanai almost doubles the inside living space). Because each 'room' was once a hotel room, there is a full bath in every room. Therefore, a 2-bedroom (sleeps up to 8) has 3 full baths; 1-bedrooms have 2 full baths. The primary bedroom has an oversized chair that converts into a single bed, or a free 'rollaway' (stands up along the wall for daytime storage) can be requested for those who prefer to not share the queen sleeper sofas. Free commercial washers, dryers, steamer unit near the pool. To complement the condo's kitchenette space, use stainless grills throughout the resort or modern shared kitchen with cooktops, oven, prep space, commercial sinks. The fabulous 3.5 acre super pool in the center of the tropical resort kept our family entertained with the slides, grotto, waterfalls, sand-bottom pirate ship cove, hot tubs, free activities (including popcorn or shave ice every weekday, free Pickleball/tennis courts & equipment, putting greens, sunrise beach yoga, etc.), hula shows, live musicians & singers. Delicious poolside food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & outdoor, covered seating at the Marketplace To-Go. Onsite Starbucks, Longhi's restaurant, and pool bars. Free pool towels and pool food/bar service. Maui needs visitor support now more than ever! We were welcomed and thanked for visiting by locals-- from shop keepers, restaurant servers, grocery clerks, resort staff. Please don't hesitate to visit. The original 'don't come' message during the initial wildfire shock was reversed within weeks. Unfortunately, the 'please come' plea hasn't been heard by many. Other than the beloved historic Lahaina town, the wildfire did not physically affect anything else in all of beautiful West Maui. Please help businesses stay open, giving residents jobs, bringing back their healthy economy. We look forward to returning to the Ma
