Very good Japanese-style small room, super cost-effective, although not big but very comfortable, the owner and his wife are super nice, and there is a cute dog, you can go to the ancient street, seafood market, Kenrokuen and other famous attractions within walking distance. Come back next time!

The landlord was very kind. I lost my wallet there and he immediately contacted the police station for me. Shiba Inu Gao-san is also very cute! It's perfect if you want to experience a real traditional Japanese house. The space of the bedroom was big enough for me, everything you need is present. You also experience sleeping on real tatami.
The couple owning the guesthouse were very friendly and caring. I did get lots of good advice.
Also you have a cute little Shiba waiting for you. I was surprised how calm he is.

This was my favorite stay out of all of my accomodations in Japan even if I was only there for a day (wish I stayed longer!). Soku-san and his wife are the kindest people ever and offered amazing hospitality. Gao is the cutest dog I've ever seen and I was super happy to get a picture with him at the end of my stay. The home is very clean and the room very spacious. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a very short walk away from a bus stop. There is also a convenience store close by. The owners have been running the sharehouse for eight years and have a collection of fan art of Gao as well as notes from guests from all around the world. I will definitely be back here again if I am back in Kanazawa!

Absolutely incredible experience. Although I only stayed for 1 night, I would have love to stay longer if I had time. The owners are wonderful people who offer great hospitality. The room is extremely spacious, comfortable, and beautiful for those looking to experience Kanazawa like a local. I will come back again, see you soon Gao and family🐾

It is a quiet residential area near Higashi Chaya and has a calm environment. I have fond memories of the warm hospitality of the staff. It was convenient because Sukiya, Coco's, and a local public bathhouse were just a short walk away.
