Paradise Bay Resort

This was not what we expected it is in the middle of a not great neighborhood. It doesn’t look like the pictures online it needs updated. The hot tub was lukewarm and missing tiles. There is limited time to use the free kayaks. The internet in our room barely worked we could not upload a movie on to our iPads for flight home. The walls are thin and we heard our neighbors coughing and sneezing all evening. You only get cleaning services every 3 days. For the high cost resort fees there should be better service offered and we shouldn’t have to pay for parking this is not in the middle of a city with limited parking. An employee also took the prime parking spot in front of our room. The room was clean, the beds and bedding were good. It has a beautiful view of mountains and bay but we will not be returning to this resort it was just too much of a disappointment. Also you really should update your webpage it looks a lot nicer than it actually is! Also you should remove your food info with the disclaimer due to Covid we no longer offer this. It has been 4 years so why leave that in there just remove that you even use to offer dinner. There is limited restaurant options it would be nice if you did offer a little more than you do. Maybe some fresh fruit in the morning along with the banana bread (that is not that good) you have some unappealing apples why not some pineapple and papaya. The little things you could do to make it feel more resort like.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The property has a great view and several nice amenities and overall clean and well maintained. We stayed in room 31 (studio suite.) I do not recommended this room, especially if you're a light sleeper. Part of the room faces the parking lot and part faces the street. The hotel is in a (very) residential neighborhood and there are many roosters in the neighborhood. The neighbors were in and out of their cars and setting of alarms until roughly midnight, and roosters started crowing at roughly 3AM. There was only one AC unit in the bedroom and it is old and very noisy. It did not cool the room efficiently. Sitting/kitchen area is small and no sofa in the room. The room was clean overall but there was some grime buildup in the bathroom near the shower and vanity that clearly the cleaning staff have overlooked. We chose the least expensive room available, so I'm sure many of their rooms are nicer and quieter, but we did not feel well rested after leaving here.

Great and peaceful area. Not near any grocery stores and nothing but the beach is walkable. It’s secluded and very quaint.

The property is a hidden gem! The views are spectacular! Grounds are very clean and well maintained and our 1 bedroom suite was beautiful!

Lovely setting , staff very helpful and loved little Oreo. Views amazing. Needs a little updating soundproofing of rooms !, noisy AC, really needs a fan in the bedroom and sockets. Other positives excellent reception area, in room kitchen so don't worry about no restaurant. Get Uber eats app. Helpful Aunty Sandy ( uber driver ) takes you anywhere at reasonable price.

Great stay. Only real downside was no amenities in the immediate area. Very nice suite for a good sale price.

Very unique property, super clean, pretty, peaceful and quiet. Great place to get away from the Honolulu/Waikiki craziness. Great view of the bay. Room we had was a classic studio. Plenty big for 2 people. Bathroom was small with no place to set your toiletries but we made it work. Nice to have a kitchen in the room. Bed was super comfy. No TV in the bedroom area was a negative for me. And the drive up to the place seemed a bit sketchy but we had no issues and no security concerns. Really pretty place and would definitely stay here again.

Location was prime for what we wanted to do. We loved the private location. Staff was businesslike, professional and very helpful. Enjoyed using the kayaks and having snorkel equipment available.
