I had a very disappointing experience at Erandi Holiday Home. This is honestly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was not clean at all, and the towels provided felt like old waste cloth rather than something properly maintained for guests. The bathroom was in terrible condition — the door had no lock and would not stay closed, which made it very uncomfortable. On top of that, mosquitoes and even bees were coming in from the bathroom area. There was also a strong bad smell throughout the room. Even they didn’t provide hand wash in bathroom. What made it worse is that the place looked completely different from the photos shown on booking sites. It felt like a scam because the reality did not match the expectations at all. I have visited Sri Lanka three times, and this is the first time I’ve had such a bad hotel experience. Overall, very disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

The room is a bit messy and the doorknob is broken. There are no water bottles or toothbrushes provided, and the bathroom light isn't bright enough. The ceiling fan is also noisy and feels loose. The only good thing is the peaceful, jungle-like surroundings in the morning.

Stay away from this hotel. . I booked one night since I had to stay a few hours during a layover, but when I got there, I decided to leave after only taking a shower. First of all, I tried to text them in the morning, but no one answered me, and I wanted to use their transfer from and to the airport, but of course I had to take a taxi. When I got there, the only one who spoke a little bit of English was one of their guests. Then they gave me a room that was dirty and horrible. I decided that the chair at the airport was a better choice.
