Greystoke House

We would highly recommend staying at this first class guest house. Everything from the immaculate comfortable rooms to the superb full English breakfast makes your stay enjoyable. Jon and Emma are really friendly hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The check in and out process is extremely efficient. They have truly thought of everything!

This was our second visit to Greystoke House and it was excellent! Jonathan and Emma are friendly, helpful hosts, and it's clear they want people to enjoy their stay. The room was spacious and very well equipped and the breakfasts were amazing, using fresh local produce.

Hospitality, comfort and delicious breakfast its finest here with John and Emma as hosts. Room modern with all amenities including for this Yank box of Kleenex and washcloths! Bed and bedding super comfortable after long day hike, shower and toiletries grand. Short walk into town and lake. Perfect.

This is the fourth or fifth time I've stayed with Jon & Emma, and there were no surprises. Being the time of year it was parking was really easy around the guesthouse, and I do really like their online check in system - it is so easy to use. Breakfast was prompt and more than enough for me, and as usual Emma excelled in the kitchen and Jon was the attentive waiter - a great combination. When looking for accommodation in Keswick, Greystoke is always my first place to check for availability and I see no reason why that should change.

We had a lovely 3 day stay at Greystokes House in May 24. The room was spotless and the bed and pillows were very comfotable and we both had a great nights sleep. The breakfasts were delicious from cereal, cooked breakfast, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. Jon and Emma were great hosts.

Brilliant guesthouse..hosted very good less than 5 minute walk to town.amazing breakfast from emma and john..cant thank them enough helpfull with advice on walks and local attractions.. we definitely recommend and will be staying again

Absolutely brilliant B&B. Fabulous room with great attention to detail (shower was 10/10 - just what you need after a day walking the fells!). Emma's breakfasts are fantastic and very friendly experience overall. Parking is easy, quiet location but Keswick's main town is 3-4 minutes round the corner. The dry room was an unexpected bonus which many B&Bs don't have. Highly recommended!

This hotel is the cosiest hotel I have ever stayed in its run by a fantastic couple Jon and Emma and there beautiful family, the location of this property is 10/10 it’s so close to the centre and the lake. The breakfast was immensely gorgeous they catered for your every needs. Can’t wait to go back

Great location for a B&B in Keswick, a bit outside of the "centre" but also a few minutes away, so nice and quiet. The host is super nice and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage before check-in and after checkout. The single room is definitely big enough, with a very comfy bed, a sink and the kettle/tea set up. The bathroom ( private but a few floors below) is great. The house has a drying room for all to use, definitely useful after a long walk in the rain! There is an option for a takeaway packed breakfast (box or sandwich) instead of the sit-down cooked one. This was super helpful and I ordered it every day :) Only little downside is the room soundproofing. You can hear your room neighbours a lot. But it wasn't too much of an issue!
