We've come back to Italy a couple of weeks ago. Our stay at Buhoma Gorilla Camp was one of a kind, we were a couple with our son. You can see it has been planned and built by someone very knowledgeable about nature and sustainable tourism, when you are in your lodge you feel like you are in the jungle, there's also a nice stream you can enjoy the relaxing sound of. everything has been built respecting the style of the country, great wood everywhere. The staff also has been chosen carefully, you see a great team working together, friendly among them and with the guests. Everybody has been kind, anticipating our wishes, and helpful. Buhoam Gorilla Lodge is also very conveniently located. Uganda is an amazing country, and safe to travel to, but the extra help and needed suggestions you can get from Richard, the super kind and fun to be with owner, make your journey smooth besides unique.

We really loved the place. Located at only two kilometers from one of the entrances of the Bwindi National Park, it's clearly a perfect place to approach all the activities within this unique park. The lodge is composed by few beautiful cottages immersed in the forest. We were surrounded by greenery and the sound of birds and the flowing water in the tiny river passing underneath our family room. The service was excellent: Richard and his team were super nice and kind, also extremely helpful solving the issues we had with other companies, they made us feel part of a family. This place will remain in our hearts and I really recommend it to anybody wishing to spend few days in exploring this wonderful region and meet the gorillas. You feel the real Africa, in the middle of the forest, and the lodges are wooden made and eco-friendly. I can strongly recommend this place where we hope to soon be back

Loved this hotel so much! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and fun and the accommodations were so lovely. They added touches like adding a bed warmer and spraying for mosquitoes before bed. I would 10/10 recommend. Our only regrets was only staying for one night!

The lodging is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the cabins are spaced far enough away to have privacy. The location is amazing, and there's even a shortcut to the craft center in town. The staff are very friendly and provide incredible service. They even gave us umbrellas to borrow so we didn't get wet during the rainy season. The food is delicious, and the chef is very friendly. There's even wifi! Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to be! Surrounded by jungle trees in a beautiful environment the spacious and country-specific furnished cottages are perfect to relax after exciting travel days. I really liked the small paths between the cottages and the restaurant. The staff is extraordinary caring and friendly and wanted to make everything possible for us. The food was very tasty and different every day. Richard, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and is always looking after his guests. In Buhoma there are so many things to explore aside the gorilla tracking so it’s worth to stay longer than the usual two nights as most of the guests do (we stayed longer 😀). I’m sure to come back and stay again at Buhoma Gorilla Camp!

Staying at Buhoma Gorilla Camp was like staying with family. I have never stayed in a place where everyone was so kind and so friendly. The camp itself is beautiful. The cottages are gorgeous and spacious and in a wonderful contemplative setting. The food is also great. Each meal was delightful during the three days that I was there, especially the multiple course dinners. The staff were so incredibly kind that I was sad when it came time to leave. They made sure that all my needs were met and they were very knowledgeable about things to do in the area in addition to visiting Bwindi. They really cared about my welfare and wanted me to have the best experience I could. As I said before, they made me feel like part of a new family. I was there by myself on this trip and I intend to return here with my kids in the near future. This is an amazing place with amazing people.

An excellent stay for the whole family! This lovely lodge is well located and have the most caring and kind staff ever ! Comfortable accomodations and delicious food! We highly recommend Buhoma Gorilla camp for your holidays in Uganda without a doubt !

It was my Birthday when we check in into this lovely place. We were greeted at the entrance by the well trained staff member who leaded us to our room. Later in the evening we were having my Birthday celebration together with htl Manager Magezi Richard amazingly cultured and polite man who is globally aware so we have a lot of things to talk about. All of a sudden lights went out and we heard a staff singing "Happy Birthday to You" song entering into canteen and bringing a birthday cake ordered earlier by our wonderful guide Muzamilu Chance the owner of Chance Tour Uganda. It was absolutely unforgettable moments and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Magezi Richard as your next host in Uganda. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay here during our trip to see the gorillas. Room is spacious and clean. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food tasted amazing and with great presentation! We also did a village tour around the hotel, meeting some of the most genuine locals who all welcomed us with open arms. We will write our village tour experience on our IG platform
