Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan.
Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise!
There are two large parking lot and parking is free.

覓食:
離酒店不遠有個南蠻便當（圖一），從酒店導航步行過去，大概三分鐘。這家店位於十字路口，在店前和對面的路，如果沿着圖二標註的方向步行，十來分鐘，都可以到餐飲購物很集中的區域，而且都是一條直路。對面的路通往Aeon購物中心，門口的路還可以去唐吉訶德，兩個地方都是餐飲選擇很豐富的。
遊玩:
從酒店導航去隼人塚，步行十來分鐘，很值得一看，平安時期遺留下來的，距今八百多年了。旁邊還有個陳列館，收費180日元，雖然小，但布展功夫一流，很好地闡釋了歷史由來。
從酒店可以步行導航去鹿兒島神宮看看，不到二十分鐘，那裡是唯一祭祀日本人祖先吳太伯的地方，他是中國來的，所以也當拜望老鄉。鹿兒島神宮也是日本國寶之一。
從酒店可以步行去國分站，大概二十六分鐘，在站前坐始發巴士去丸尾，去和回的巴士時刻見圖三四。如果週六週日去，因為班次少，所以不得不在那裡停留四個小時，才可以坐上回程巴士。如果是週一到週五去，就可以兩個小時。在丸尾，玩兩個小時足夠了，可以去丸尾瀑布轉轉，回來時就在路邊的前田温泉泡泡，她家有露天風呂，而且温泉是掛流，超爽！賣的温泉蛋100日元一個，焦香！出來後再走到霧島温泉市場賣蒸物的地方，解決中餐。那裡的各色東西都很美味，尤其肉腸。如是兩個小時足夠了。

老式的酒店，但是房間非常大，窗外是霧島市的風景，如果住到面向山的一面，應該景色更好。
酒店的早餐中規中矩，但是有當地非常有名的醋飲料，意麪和色拉非常特別，很好吃。
樓下有公共温泉，池子不多，但是與身體温度差不多恆温的温泉池很有特色，推薦。
