Hotels near Oceana Samui Charters in Koh Samui

The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work. The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available. You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow. All in all I would recommend the hotel!

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

The hotel , like many , is no longer a new Thai troika : a little scratched interior, a mediocre cleaning (blacked balcony door, shower cabin); rather scarce and uniform breakfast (which is not very typical); Problems with hot water (it is just warm, it was only a few times hot). 90% of the guests are tourists from Russia. In addition, the spacious rooms, no deposit, friendly staff, convenient location (to the center in a hurry step of 15-20), a warm pool with clean water. The problem with beach towels, judging by previous reviews, decided : now their sufficient number and they are new (on the labels is the date of issue 01.20). Baik rented near the hotel, left a deposit of 100 dollars. No problem with return. If you are swimming in Chavenge, I would recommend going to the beach not through the nearby hotel, but through the main entrance (out of the hotel and left 300 meters). But on the beach (in February) there were tangible waves and a little pulled into the sea. Therefore, with children, I think, it is better to consider another area. Also, if you don 't want to rent a bike, between the beaches are riding songeo (as I realized, before sunset as public transport, after sunset as taxi), once went to the beach of Boput, gave for two 140 bucks.

We stayed at this newly built hotel for 5 Nights in October 22 which is usually OFF season (instead of offering for free upgrade they asked us 300 Thai bath for an upgrade). the hotel is extremely beautiful, but location is not good, even for 7/11 Shop you need to walk for 15 min up and down hill. there is no restaurant for dinner outside the hotel. No free shuttle to main shopping area (Central Sumai). rooms are nice and clean (no coffee creamer though they send you COLD milk in your room). there are few areas that need to be improved. House keeping is average. All the staff is very polite and helpful. we had free buffet breakfast which was bellow Average. our stay was long 5 Nights and during our stay we never ever had HOT tea or COFFEE. it always took at least 15 minutes for them to serve you coffee. Breakfast scene is pretty chaotic . pools are very very nice and clean, they have very small private beach. but the view from each room specially the lobby is to die for. overall i will still give it 8/10

We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. My recent three-night stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was an enchanting journey, filled with an exceptional level of service that beautifully compensated for the hotel's aging facilities. From the outset, the resort's fusion of Asian and Thai architectural elegance warmly welcomed us, accentuated by the delicate blend of styles and the presence of wood-clad interior columns, real wood floors and furniture. This seamless integration of tradition and geographical context, with brick and tropical roof tiles, created a captivating atmosphere. The lush foliage and well-grown trees embraced the surroundings, creating a vivid backdrop that captured the essence of the beachfront location. While time had etched its marks on the facility, the fusion of architectural styles and natural elements into the design remained a captivating feature. Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. As I reflect on my stay, it is clear that the warmth of hospitality and the genuine care extended by the team are what truly define the Renaissance Koh Samui.

Mid March, strong winds, strong waves, red flag, can’t swim on Chaweng beach. Last year September Chaweng beach water was so calm and flat, so beautiful, picture perfect, best beach in Koh Samui, but in March, not swimmable. But we found no wind, no waves at Choengmon beach! Ozo, excellent breakfast, nice pool, right on beach. Good sunbeds, clean. if you can get one. There is Ozo rule: one towel per person, no saving sunbed, no outside food or drink. We were shocked by these rules. Good for management, but for guests, not feel so good. We never stayed in a hotel in Thailand with such rules. The biggest negative is it is very noisy at night, up to 3 am, many guest noises and can hear next door toilet flushes, and strange scuffling sound at night behind the walls. The bed is very comfortable but we could not sleep because of the sounds. Finally, the room is just too small, for two people. Balcony so small. We stayed one week, then moved to another hotel in Choengmon beach. We will not stay here again. Didn’t have any memorable experience with the staff. The staff were just staff, not friendly, no smiles. Disappointed.

I stayed here for four days, together with my girlfriend. We had originally booked two nights, but chose to stay another two. The hotel is located in an incredibly beautiful place, right next to Lamai Beach. Here you can freely use the hotel's deckchairs, beanbags and more. The staff are very smiling and helpful, which made the visit super good! In addition, there is a good pool and good food at a good price. There are also barbecue evenings with live music, cocktail evenings, etc. which were cozy in the restaurant with a view of the beach and the sea. We could easily imagine visiting here again in the future ☺️🙌

It is cost-effective and convenient to travel. The hotel is just outside Chaweng Street, where you can eat and drink. It is also close to the central samui mall, just a few minutes' walk away. very convenient. The service staff are very good, and the buffet breakfast is also pretty good. The sand on the beach is fine and clean. The only downside is that the bar outside is a bit noisy, until two o'clock... But after the order was placed, the hotel also sent an email to remind me that the bar outside would be noisy. The pick-up is not expensive, only 400 plants! recommend!

When we arrived at Ko Samui airport, the transfer service from the hotel worked perfectly. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were given our room straight away. The room (Grand Deluxe Room) far exceeded our expectations. It's less of a room and more of a small apartment without a kitchen. The hotel complex is absolutely paradisiacal. Lots of beautiful plants and very well maintained. The beach was amazing, the most beautiful beach we have seen on Ko Samui (we explored the whole island by motorbike that we also rent from the hotel). The sea - turquoise blue clear water. The great thing is that it is a private beach so only accessible to hotel guests and therefore not overcrowded. The food was fantastic. There is a very large selection and there really is something for everyone. The pool area directly on the beach with an included pool bar is very beautiful. And the cleanliness of the whole hotel was excellent. What particularly impressed us and what we have never experienced on our many trips... was the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Everyone was always helpful, funny and good organized. Friendships developed in this short time, for which we are very grateful. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for us. You gave us a wonderful honeymoon and organized such a beautiful candlelight dinner that we will never forget in our lives.
