Smy Kos Beach & Splash

We all had the most amazing time here best holiday in a long time, staff have been so lovely and welcoming. Hotel was clean and comfy beds with aircon, great food and pool areas couldnt of asked for more will be going back again as soon as we can 😊

Loved it! We had such a lovely experience! Dimitri, Thule and Marvin were so lovely and friendly! The pool facilities were wonderful! The water park for my 2year old daughter was just fantastic! She loved it!!! Just the little family break we needed. The food was varied although I was hoping to have more Greek food however I understand that they’re catering for all tastes

Just came back from a 11 night stay at the hotel, booked a standard room which had everything we needed, it was clean, modern and had all of the conveniences we needed. Complimentary toiletries were decent and you were given a bottle of water everyday too. The staff on arrival were brilliant we arrived at 11pm and they had us provided us a small supper in our room to enjoy, definitely a nice touch. They also extended the AI drinks (as it stops at 11pm) for us to enjoy a few drinks to help wind down before heading to bed. The staff all round were generally great, especially by the infinity pool and reception, always wanting to help you. The food was amazing, always had fresh taste despite some of the other comments, and the drinks were of a decent quality and weren’t the watered-down version you normally get in AI, overall they could not of done a better job especially with an array of drinks available. It is worth noting some of the cocktails are extra, generally the mainstream cocktails but aren’t that bad priced if you did want them. One recommendation is to take a refillable cup, you get more out of the bar staff and it kept the drink cooler for longer! The pool bar which is right next to the beach is amazing fresh food every lunch time e.g. gyros, fresh pizzas, Greek salads etc they cater for all ages and those which are fussy in life and those who enjoy food in general. Ice cream stall has an array of flavours and a great addition for the sun peaks/mid-afternoon lull to tie you over to dinner. The beach is lovely and is private which is great lots of sun loungers available, water is clear and is actually WARMER than the pool, highly recommend and its A LOT quieter if you are wanting some R&R. We didn’t venture out much, but we hire a car there is a desk near the reception. This only cost €54 for the day all insurance in that price too. We explored the whole of Kos in one day, we visited Kos Town, Kefalos, Paradise Beach and Limnionas and then Zia which is amazing. Wanted to see the sunset up there but sadly it was overcast on that day so couldn’t enjoy but apparently from the locals too it’s the best spot on the island to enjoy. One added perk is that parking was free everywhere we went. We weren’t accompanied with children, however there is a kids club & kids disco, its nothing fantastic, there is a small park of water slides for them, the staff work very hard, BUT I would not say it’s the best I have seen in comparison to others. However Adult entertainment remains a lot to be desired .. extremely poor, overbearing at times obviously it might improve as the season is just starting but what we saw didn’t impress much. This obviously doesn't help especially with the hotel being secluded from local towns etc. What would make this hotel perfect would be to have an a la carte Greek restaurant on site that so you aren't always eating in the buffet, or even a fish a la carte near the beach, having the view is great already and feel like

Very lovely hotel - the staff, surroundings and food were all excellent. The private beach is easily accessed and has free loungers and umbrellas. The views are stunning. The pools are in good condition. Reception are extremely helpful and friendly. All speak good English but we learnt some Greek - you have to make some effort in think. The rooms are great - comfortable beds, good shower, toiletries provided which are nice. We were AI, as vegetarians it can be hard to get consistently good food but the chefs here are great. Loads of fabulous salads, pizza, roasted veg, etc etc. The hotel isn't in Mastachari. There's some good shops and tavernas within walking distance. Also a beautiful church within the complex, great icons. The bus is worth looking at, we used it to get to Kos town. We hired bikes 1 day and it's blissfully flat everywhere we cycled. The salt flats are nice ;no shops but tavernas nearby. The airport is a short distance. Would recommend for a relaxed break.

What a beautiful setting! We were at the sea end of the complex in B Block, with a lovely clean room and fabulous air con! We needed it, such lovely weather. The cleaning lady made up the room everyday with fresh bottles of water and clean towels, I think her name was Maria. The selection of foods in the main restaurant was amazing! Well supervised by the Manager Isaac, who kept his eye on everything but still managed to remember faces, friends and give them all a courteous greeting. He remembered favourite drinks at the bar and despite working long hours, always had a smile and greeting. I must also mention the reception staff, nothing was too much trouble, from arranging for extra pillows to organising taxis. Dimitri was a wonderful porter who carried our heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs as if they were empty! All in all it was a wonderful place and we have only been back a day but miss it already.

We arrived and was firstly very impressed . Clean in all areas and great for the Kids . They loved the splash park . Entertainment was hit and miss . Beach was really nice and lots of Sunbeds . Food was plentiful and eating areas always clean and tidy . Staff worked so hard . The biggest Downfall was B Block where they put the Families . Although our Junior Suite itself was nice and clean , O MY WORD !!! We were right by the Sewerage works and the smell was Horrendous as we walked to our Room . Our only saving grace was we were on the 1st and our Balcony faced away from the Sewerage works , so once in the room , there was No Smell . I felt so sorry for the people on the Ground Floor , as they could not get away from the Smell , I certainly would have made a fuss about that and demanded to be moved . Something needs to be sorted about this , as we were here in May and I hate to think of the Smell in July and august

Good parts first - Entertainment team and staff were all so so nice and helpful. We hired a car and got a lot of really good advice from both lady’s in the reception area. The cleanliness was to a very very high standard, and rooms were nice- good aircon. Bad- The alcohol seemed to be watered down based of the multiple tequila sunrises we consumed which they filled the glass half full of tequila yet you couldn’t taste it. cocktails i also wouldn’t call cocktails and was disappointed to pay extra for a pina collada that wasn’t good at all Food had good potential but most of the pork and chicken was 80% fat or bone (no over exaggeration) One last small thing is every single table we sat on was wobbly , not a big problem but is just a bit annoying We wouldn’t go back there as the main pool area needs an update but mainly due to the alcohol, i would recommend for family’s with kids.

What can I say absolutely fantastic just about covers it. Wonderful food staff very friendly rooms cleaned every day new towels given and a litre bottle of water left every day. Kids loved the pools and our studio was lovely comfortable mattresses . Sad to leave x

The food was amazing always fresh and the chefs and food and beverage staff could not of done a better job. The pool bar which is right next to the beach is amazing fresh food every lunch time e.g. gyros, fresh pizzas, Greek salads etc. The beach is lovely and is private which is great lots of sun loungers available. If you’re looking to explore I would suggest hiring a car there is a desk near the reception. This only cost €48 for the day all insurance in that price too. We explored the whole of Kos in one day 09:00-21:00. We visited the Thermal Springs, Kos Town, Kelflos (paradise beach) and then watched the sunset in Zia which is amazing. Parking was free everywhere we went.
